It's crazy to me that they went out and traded for Hicks but didn't add a bat. And you might not have Bo for a couple of weeks. Just wild man. Pham was clearly affordable.

Flaherty has been s*** this year but if they can unlock part of his former self he definitely helps them. Pretty sure he shut us out earlier this year though.

He’s not my favourite option but he fits the team needs. I feel Seattle is being a dick about Teo. Cause if they trade him back to us. It will be Swanson for whoever the return is for Teo which probably be a lottery ticket at best. Macko is nothing so he’s already been thrown to the waste side.

They are going to need trade some of those infield prospects eventually. Only so many spots. They could trade multiple good prospects and still have a top 5 farm. White Sox should hold out for as much as possible.

Well the amount of money justifies the prospect return a little more. But still crazy for Mets who can flex their financial muscle. Verlander got his money and goes back to a place he’s won and probably didn’t want to leave to begin with.

DeJong is a good Shortstop for sure we probably upgraded defensively to be honest but missing Bo’s bat for any period of time sucks. DeJong does have some pop though so maybe he can smack out a few more in AL East bandboxes.

Jays still need a bat. Preferably an Outfielder. Paul DeJong is certainly a much better player than Espinal atleast. Defensively could play 2B when Bo is back against Lefties.

He would likely be the option they pursue depending how long term the Bo injury is. If it’s a complete ACL tear. He would miss the rest of this Season and most if not all of next year. So that’s where you would want a new everyday SS for a year and half. Hoping its not the severe and its more of a jam or sprain. And in that case you shift to more of a cheap veteran glove.

He has fine actions and plenty of arm for the position. But there would be a ton of throwing errors. He won’t end up there and putting him there’s now would be odd. Would I choose him over Espinal. Honestly that’s questionable. I think the fan base would get infuriated with him quickly and they hate Bo who has only committed 8 errors this Season lol. Not saying errors are the end all be all or anything. But they will stack up. Bo really does make the plays for the most part he’s just not very good.

Barger is not ready to play Major League SS full time. Especially thrust into a spotlight. Almost no chance that happens.

Prayers for Bo man f***. Lets hope it's not severe like a tear. Knee sprain might be a DL stint but it would be a god send right now compared to the worst case scenario.

Bowden Francis looks kinda nice tbh. Could have a nice little career as a multi inning reliever but I would imagine he will be kept as Starting depth atleast through next year.
