It's hard to imagine Vlad is some how getting worse at hitting. Who the f*** is in this guy's ear. How do you go from hitting high velocity to being absolutely beat by it constantly at 24 years of age. It has to be approach. Skills don't just diminish like that.
Biggio deserves to be playing right now. Despite social media tearing him up. He’s been playing well for over a month now. .360 on base and some pop with quality Defense and Base Running.
But yea Davis should 100 percent be playing. It’s a odd that he seemingly got benched after one bad game.
Is this a sarcastic reference to people complaining about John Scheneider pulling starters early? You know he pulls Starters at 84 pitches. I wish the Blue Jays starters got to throw 100 pitches and have a chance to come back out. Seems like an absolute pipe dream. Would be a lot less complaining if we could just get these Starters there full workload. I don’t know why he’s so conservative with Gausman when he’s just going to pull him early from a playoff game anyway. Oh and that’s a sarcastic reference to last year.
Whit just has a knack for putting the bat on the ball. Those guy’s are valuable because it rarely slumps. Especially when he provides speed on bases and Defensive versatility.
His approach just works. Although nothing that he does really stands out.
Nate just has no business being on an MLB Roster right now. He wasn’t throwing strikes in AAA either.
Looks like Romano is coming back Tuesday so he’s likely back down.
I feel this in general is more common than people think. Girls I want to High School with were like 15 and 16 dating dudes in their 20's. A lot of Seniors also date Freshman. Not a huge variance but its often 14 and 18.
I don't think his career is going to end because of this or anything. Is it f***ed up absolutely. He's not going to Jail though.
I’m honestly over it lol. But it’s the principle that people are defending the decision to yank starters early. Yes the off-days are coming up but people wonder why we have relievers throwing 3 out of 4 days and are unavailable on nights we need them on a semi regular basis. Most of the time it’s a direct result of pulling Starters early and using back end relievers in meaningless games that all adds up.
That wasn’t the reason to keep him in the game. That would just be a benefit of staying in the game. He should have stayed in the game because of his low pitch count, his performance on the mound, and the scoreboard.
Period.
They said he didn’t have any restrictions. He doesn’t need to be eased on. Would be a good time to throw 100 pitches today. And QS are not an arbitrary start. 6 innings of 3 runs or less is a very good goal each start. What a stupid take.
