    I was responding to a post on why Valenzuela should be kept on the team over Heiny because he throws better and frames better. They both can’t hit. Valenzuela going to Buffalo for 3 months isn’t going to make him a better hitter, He would be best on the current team making balls look like strikes and fooling the hitter and the umpire.

    They literally added another Catcher to the 40-man. Heiny is useless.

    Really think they should keep Valenzuela over Heiny when Kirk comes back. They both can’t hit may as well keep the better defender.

    I felt like the Red Sox were a 90+ loss team heading into the Season and they are certainly playing like one.

    What a great day so far. Eloy is off our roster and Springer is back. Offense came alive. Now I don’t have to hear his name anymore when he posts middling AAA stats but told is going to help this team hit!

    They pretty much flipped the script from last night. Now that the back of the bullpen has been sorted. Hopefully they can get on a nice roll

    Would like to see Straw get to second base quickly here. Big add on run and he still running in the 96th percentile.

    Low key Hoffman was efficient enough to go back out for the 8th. But I would expect them just to give the ball to Rogers and thats fine.

    What he gave us tonight was pretty much the best case scenario. I was expecting him to struggle with command and go maybe 4 innings like he was doing in the minors. But he was throwing strikes and was effective. Not as dominant but he looked good and that's the important thing. Walked off the mound feeling good about himself. Now the team needs to get him a win.

    I don't think anything is wrong with Gimenez they just know he can't hit lefties and are using Clement at SS to try to infuse some more offense to the lineup. Clearly hasn't helped much. But I think they will try to sit him against lefties whenever possible and bring him in for Defense at the end of games they are leading.

    You know its going to be bad when they are offering buyout packages to walk away early. It's very sad. I have been through this myself. I don't even know if the average Canadian knows how many companies have moved to the US or were just flat out poached from struggling Canadian companies.

    Rogers trying to lay off half their work force to pay Cease's contract. They are making sure they are getting their moneys worth!
