Hire a young sabermetrics protege and go get Dave Martinez as manager and I will be thrilled.

I will miss AA personally. I don't like Gibbons at all but AA has put elite controllable talent at most of our positions. I really was happy with what he has done for the most part. The Indians and Mets trades were bad but other than that hes been pretty solid. I like his approach of going after top talent instead of just trying to fill a position. Not a lot of GM's are that bold. Alex went out and got Donaldson and most of the league didn't even know he was available.

I thought the Mark Lowe trade was pretty bad especially how sparingly he was used.

Well they are going to need to break the lease eventually because they are being pushed to build a new stadium. It was just announced earlier in the week that the organization had gained permission to view other parts of Florida for a new stadium location. It won't be long until its other markets completely. Obviously the one way Montreal gets a team if there is a promise of a new stadium. I think its going to happen and sooner rather than later.

Rays will be in Montreal soon. Groundwork being laid as we speak.

Random casual fan: Stadium operations? I knew it was Shapiro who wanted the roof closed. Damn American hates Canada weather. #FireShapiro #BringBackAA

J.P. tenure was a disaster. He also stated he would prefer to draft college players because they got to the big leagues quicker. Ignoring the fact that they probably had lower ceilings and started a string of a talentless farm system for several seasons.

    Quality trolling.

I find it hard to believe that Shapiro came in scolded him and said you can return but only if you ask me to make decesions first. Anyway its pretty clear the organization is going to be completely different. No relationships with the players. Will be interesting to see how this goes.

Can't even resign a Canadian GM that lives with his family in Toroto lol.
  22. Jonn
Only the Blue Jays would fail to resign the Excutive of the year. Any window with our free agents just became non existent.

Its just the Royals year. Everything is coming up Millhouse

I can't wait until Freeman suits up for our National team.

The fact that he got to leave on his own terms in concerning to me. He was living on past glories. Past glories he had very little to do with. The only thing I credit him for is getting rid of the fugly black jays and pushing the turf issue.
