    Wow that article was embarrassing. Interesting he would choose Bautista. I guess the Machado antics pale in comparison too Bautista's bat flip emotional bat flip. God forbird Baseball Players show emotion.

    Until anything actually comes out of Jose's mouth. I'm taking these reports with a grain of salt. They may be trusted sources in many regards but a lot of it seems like pure speculation at best.

    It's unconventional but so was having him make the jump from A ball to the Majors to be a reliever. Makes sense to give Storen the 9th and let Osuna go for 2 innings more often than last year. Have him prepare to start. Than the question is who the f*** closes in 2017. Both Storen and Cecil are free agents. I fear they may never make him a starter.

    I never once said Gibbons was a good manager. If it was my decesion Bautista would leadoff but ego prevents that from being an option. I'm just making the point of getting upset about it is pointless.

    If I had to pick something to piss me off it would be trading Hendriks with mutiple years of control for one year of Chavez at more than 4x the cost to compete for the 5th starter job. A job that will probably be handed to Sanchez with Chavez filling the same role Hendriks had last year. That's what pisses me off. Even stretching Hendriks out as a starter made more sense than this idiotic scenario we are watching play out infront of our eyes.
