  1. Only the Blue Jays can f*** up 1st and 3rd with nobody out so the Royals take this quickly.
  2. f***ing 1am this is a disaster for MLB.
  3. Blue Jays would have won by now.
  4. I think people are blowing up this Alex contract thing. I think its pretty clear hes coming back. Its just a slow time in the city. Its not fun to make fun of the Leafs anymore because at this point its just sad. The Raptors are fun sometimes but in reality they are never going to win anything meaningful. I mean the Atlantic Division is great... Oh wait no its not. Different GM same mistakes. Giving outrageous contracts to role players like Caroll and Joseph that will very much regret and tie our hands for years. But wait the payroll is going to go up next year! To bad we will likely throw all that money at keeping a worse version of Corey Maggette in DeMar DeRozan. I heard the soccer team made the playoffs but who really gives a s*** about that. That league is basically house league soccer compared to the professional leagues. Maybe Soccer's version of the ECHL in hockey.
  5. For the people worried about Alex's comment about character over talent. Lets not forget he got the best Third Basema and Shortstop in Baseball in less than 12 months.
  6. Joe Blanton lol
  7. You trade him if you feel you can do better. Lets not forget he was absolute garbage in the first half. All 3 of his seasons in Toronto the same thing happend. If hes our 4th or 5th starter you can live with that but he can't be anything more than that. His strikeout numbers have declined dramatically. Hes not getting swings and misses and tons of balls are being put in play. If his knuckleball is not effective it results in walks and deep fly balls. Not a recipe for success especially in our ballpark. If you can move him for value in which you feel is fair you do it. For a guy whose considered predictable with "200 innings pitched" every year. I consider him unpredictable just because he has a declining unpredictable pitch thats getting hit more and hit harder. It would not shock me to see his numbers completely blowup next year and be consistently awful. I would move if I could. I probably pick up the option though. In terms of value its there.
  8. Navarro is gone. No way hes back. He could get more playing time on serval teams.
  9. Goins is valuable as the backup infielder. If healthy Travis is the starter. Zero debate. Wilner is the only one who seems to think we might prefer Goins for reasoning behind comprehension.
  10. Strasburg was ruined in college. Not only is he physically fragile he's emotionally fragile. As all former fat guys are.
  11. Leake is a pretty bad fit though. He would be close to the bottom of my list.
  12. May as well try him there.
  13. Would love to take a flyer on Latos. Not sure what the f*** happened to him but on a cheap contract it wouldn't be a terrible investment. Some good middle of the rotation guys out there. Ball slows down can only help the infielders who play everyday on turf. But grass is coming in 2018 wooooo!
  14. Bronson Arroyo lol
  15. Probably just wants to stay in the majors. He was probably only offered scouting positions. His executive reputation has to be tarnished. I doubt he was offered a significant front office role and rightfully so. He put that Phillies franchise in the ground.
  16. f*** face Rivera is much worse.
  17. Wow that kind of sucks. I really don't think Boyd would have been the deal breaker for Detroit.
  18. Hard to believe that Royals fans can talk s*** about Donaldson and Bautista when they have idiots like Volquez and Ventura on their team. Say what you want about Bautista but he doesn't go out of way to talk s*** about the other team.
  19. Nope keep both. They don't have as much value as people think they do. They control their destiny completely. Plus they are in the final year of there contracts. And we should be looking to bring them both back after that.
  20. Focus should be adding pitching and depth. Our bench was absolute balls in the playoffs outside of Pompey who did his job and doesn't belong on the bench. With Travis back Goins can move back into his backup infielder role. Non tender Saunders 100% and offer him a minor league deal + incentives. If we can upgrade atleast one of the corner outfield spots with Bautista moving to 1B that would be ideal. Should be an interesting off-season but pretty much our entire lineup is coming back + Travis so that's postive. Would be nice to add a lefty bat to break up the righties as well. Pickup a backup catcher committed too framing. We just need to polish things off we are probably a 90+ team next year if we just fix the things that shouldn't be hard to fix.
  21. Love that man. Glad we have him signed through next season hes had an incredible run for us and will add another Silver slugger in the world. With that being said need to address his defensive position moving forward. His bat speed remains elite, his plate discipline is elite but his defense is suspect. I think hes going to age well as a hitter but we will better and he likely will stay healthier playing first base/DH. We can always stick him im the OF if needed. I expect his arm to be 100% healthy again as well.
  22. I kinda hate myself for making it. Really s***** night.
