  1. Plus he was on PED's and in the Biogenesis scandal so huge douche.
  2. Donaldson should probably hit third. Bautista first, Saunders second with Edwin in his cleanup spot. I would love to have Saunders hitting just a little higher. Have your 2 best On base guys up first followed by your best hitter also break up 3 straight right handed bats. Late game situations managers might use 3 relievers in one inning.
  3. Well that was still a good leadoff at bat
  4. I do and I also understand they haven't had any consistent results. And as burlingtonbandit said right above me the way Gibbons uses his bullpen this wouldn't work out well. A set schedule possibly but if its a game we need to win and your schedule says you can't use Gibbons are you really going to tie the hands of your manager? I'm sorry but it doesn't make a lot of sense. The adjustment alone to pitching every 5 days into doing back to back outings would take its toll.
  5. Wouldnt logic suggest pitching more frequently would lead to more wear and tear? If they really care about innings start limiting him to 5 right now. Possibly let him go longer if he has a low pitch count.
  6. I thought the plan was to shut him down completely. If the plan is to actually have him pitch as the setup man it actually makes zero sense.
  7. If Edwin wants to return the team friendly contract Shapiro and Atkins offered will more than sufficient. If a team like Boston wants to give him 3 years and more term let them. They can buy his decline years and we get a first round pick.
  8. I don't understand how pitching out of the pen 4 or 5 times every week instead of pitching every 5 days is going to protect his arm. Gibbons will use him in the 8th everytime we have the lead. Just leave him where hes at until he struggles. Just give him an extra day everytime we have an off day and even skip him if hes line to face a terrible opponent. We have 2 legit spot starter options in AAA. They could make this work.

  11. Gibbons its on twitter.
  12. So Hutch is taking Sanchez rotation spot when Sanchez moves to the pen in the second half lol.
  13. Wade LeBlanc and Hutch look like pretty good options to spot start.
  14. He had potential as a loogy.
  15. Lol not even close. Loup is s***.
  16. They will take the best offer but that won't come from us.
  17. I doubt the Yanks would trade him within the division. The Cubs have the prospects to make that happen that's where I think he ends up.
  18. Jays should be the hunt for a lefty power arm come July. No faith in Loup. Plenty in Cecil but who knows with his health.
  19. I'm not watching but following the best I can. So basically Stro has been great and Zeke kind of f***ed him over on the run?
  20. If Pompey comes up they better play him.
