    I think its great news puts us an excellent position to qualify him and get a first round pick back. I don't see Shatkins offering a long term extension. And rightfully so. But plenty of teams are desperate for offence and its a weak free agent class.

    No reason to think the payroll goes up. Infact excellent chance it goes down with Bautista and Edwin moving on. Dickey coming off the books. They will look for cheaper replacements. Definitely don't expect them to be a major player in the free agent market either.

    He needed a good 2 weeks off. I fully expect Hutchison to get throated because they completely mismanaged his callup to begin with. But he deserves an opurtunity.

    Oh god that was laced with trolling. But ok that's fine. The Orioles are fantastic I love them. I think I said the Orioles would win the division in Around Baseball after like 8 games. I was trolling there as well.

    I think he understands people are upset he was traded for Noah Syndergaard and when healthy a pretty good catcher. Everything I heard suggest the opposite but I don't pretend to know whats going on his head. You would think Cecil wants out after the fans abused his wife over Twitter. But he realized it was a handful of idiots.
