    Martin is such a horrible game-caller, why is Sanchez throwing a 2SM in an 0-2 count..

    Of for f*** sake Sanchez, throw strikes.

    Unbelievable. They need to stop thinking about increasing pitch counts and instead just swing at strikes and take balls out of the zone. Simple deduction would show that they are complicating things much more than they were last season.

    It would be stupid to use 80% 2SM again, and would be smart to mix it up like they did in Sanchez' 1st start, but given Martin's game-calling as of late, and the "pitch to contact" ******** mantra, who knows what to expect.

    Shapiro's comments are encouraging. If this continues, I hope some decisions are made regarding the coaching, instead of riding it into the ground.

    This season has definitely been an eye-opener on Russel Martin.

    I'd take Navarro and his cheap, short, contract any day over Martin.

    There needs to be a serious team meeting and some real roster changes or this team will continue to plummet.

    Not at all but the offense is just as big of a concern. The team looks extremely mediocre if not terrible so far.
