    It's sad that we have to discuss him now as if he were Buerhle. He's really trying to become his idol I guess.

    Of course he his, his awful philosophy is working for him. Not that's there's anything wrong with that if we win, but, overall, the only way he gives it up is if he gets sent down or continually smashed for doing it.

    For sure, I agree. At this point, if he won't properly commit to the suggestions that Walker, Tabler's sources, etc have given him, I don't know how he'll ever look good again?

    The biggest issue with Stroman is he no longer looks dominating out there, and hasn't for the past 5 starts.

    And then he has an inning like this which sends the message to him that P2C works..

    As Tabler's "sources" were saying, his overuse of the 2SM grip has likely messed up his grip and spin on his breaking pitches. It seems like Stroman doesn't care though, because we're getting plenty of 2SM again tonight.

    I'm curious why Stro's Velo has dipped so much as well.

    Well, when they showed Grilli and Walker working with him, it seemed to be regarding if he was tipping his pitches, not regarding his mechanics. Who knows though, maybe they were going over everything and it still isn't working. Though I haven't really seen any high 4SM yet..

    The guy's control is just poor lately, I wonder if it's mechanical?

    I don't know. Price's "ERA" will probably scare away the selection team lol.

    I'm curious to see if Tuesday's start ends up being the outlier stand out performance, or if it was, perhaps, a breakout performance to start a new run of dominance. If he's finally got his release point and the snap on the curve just right, imagine if he begins linking a streak of >9 K/9 <2 BB/9 starts together?

    He could hit 5 WAR which is just silly to think about.
