  1. I hate this behind the catcher birds eye view they keep doing.
  2. Berrios is good hittin'. Missing all his locations.
  3. Is their a cap on pitchers you can carry? I know their a minimum but wasn't aware their was a max.
  4. Yep I agree. No need to carry both. Once White is ready or Cimber is healthy, Bass should be gone. He made the decision easy. Demoting Espinal could allow us to carry both White & Cimber, which makes it easier.
  5. Swanson is a f***ing animal, wow!! Killer
  6. Scott Service taking out a guy that has stimmied us so far lol? I welcome it
  7. Yep, you can tell, he's chomping at the bit to take out Gausman early.
  8. We need a good LH not scrub ABs from Varsho & Belt. Let's break this guy's No Hitter, come on!
  9. Gas man just eating their lunch! He's so fun to watch!
  10. Has Belt's power dried up? With that pitch and swing, I would have thought it would have left the park? Maybe it was off the end of the bat?
  11. Varsho's ABs are so useless right now sadly .
  12. I wonder who gets demoted when White is ready, if Pearson & Pop are both pitching well? In a major contended year, it doesn't make sense to play the options game just to keep everyone and demote a better option in Pearson or Pop. Is there any chance White gets waived or do they just DFA Bass?
  13. Let's hope, it's the perfect moment. 7R lead so no pressure.
  14. I agree but I also want a clean inning for Pearson. Maybe see if Berrios can finish the 7th, if not being in Bass? Then Pearson for the 8th.
  15. Wow our 4-6 really stunk up that inning.
  16. The guy should know his hot zones, and focus on swinging at pitches in that zone, and watch everything else. If a pitcher paints a corner then tip your hat and walk back to the dugout. I blame him and the coaches, because I guarantee the FO has provided that information to the staff, so he should be aware.
  17. I don't know why Vladdy swings at those low and away pitches, even if he makes contact, when is it ever a good outcome?
  18. Yep, it makes sense. If he pitches like trash in AAA on his rehab stint, I would consider a DFA. If he's doing well in the stint, and Pearson is shoving, then maybe Bass is gone (he's a FA after this year anyway).
  19. Yeah, that's great to see. Hopefully Zulueta picks it up as well. It would be nice to have some good options ready to replace any of the guys struggling.
  20. Maybe a piggy-back of Ryu & Tiedes to keep Tiedes innings down? The issue is it removes 2 arms from the pen to have both on the team as a 6-man rotation. Could this work? SP 1. Gausman 2. Manoah 3. Bassit 4. Kikuchi 5. Berrios 6. Ryu & Tiedemann RP 1. Romano 2. Green 3. Pearson 4. Swanson 5. Garcia 6. Pop/Mayza/Richards That's 13 pitchers. Maybe you try and trade Berrios if he's killing it heading into the deadline? It's tough, because if he is doing well, you want to keep him, same with Kikuchi lol. It's a nice problem to have though.
  21. Cimber for now makes sense. Pop has the same arm angle, only throws mid-upper 90s while doing it, and the slider can actually get whiffs. There's no need for Cimber anymore. Call-up Pearson, and when Green is ready, boot whichever of Bass, Mayza or Richards is performing the worse. If either of those 3 are too horrendous before he's ready, see if Jay Jackson, Junior Fernandez or Hayden Juenger are ready for an opportunity.
