  1. Is Manoah shaking to those pitches or touching the pitch com? I'm just curious if that's on Kirk or him.
  2. Manoah is just garbage man, holy s*** lol.
  3. Assuming no injuries, we can definitely kick someone to the curb for Chad Green, but can we kick 2 RPs to the curb to also bring up Ryu and go with a 6-man Rotation? 1. Gausman 2. Bassitt 3. Kikuchi 4. Berrios 5. Manoah 6. Ryu 1. Romano 2. Green 3. Swanson 4. Pearson 5. Richards 6. Mayza 7. Garcia 8. Bass/Jackson/Pop/Cimber Out of that last group, I believe only Pop has options and anyone else would need to be DFA'd to remove.
  4. Is Max Muncy the most valuable Mendoza Line batter ever lol? 900 OPS and batting .202 is nuts lol. 1.1 fWAR so far and projects for 5 fWAR over a full season, and all he needs to do is continue to walk and homer the same way and he'll do it batting 200 lol.
  5. I really hope we're one of those teams.
  6. Stranger things have happened, he always seems to adjust to each new level. Also, some of our other guys are coming around now finally. Gabe Martinez, Manuel Beltre, Rainer Nunez are all hitting now. There are probably others I'm forgetting as well.
  7. Put Manoah on the IL when White is ready or just straight up demote him until he gets his s*** together?
  8. I'm curious about that too.
  9. No, but he should be moved down into low leverage with Bass at this point. Romano, Swanson, Pearson &, to an extent Mayza, are the only members in the circle of trust currently.
  10. I think Orelvis is pretty much a bust now. If an entire off-season working in the complex with our player devs can't help him make better swing decisions and consistent contact, I doubt it ever clicks.
  11. Exactly, and maybe we have that if we didn't trade away the rare diamonds in the rough we call developmental. Frasso shoving in AA right now would sure be nice instead of White getting shelled in AAA as the next call-up.
  12. 100% this. The pearl clutching with our FO is ridiculous. They're allowed to make mistakes and we're allowed to criticism them. They're not infallible. And this criticism is far from revisionist history either. Many of us hated it the minute it was announced.
  13. Yeah... Our SP development has really been s***. Hopefully that changes with Tiedemann & Barriera, but it seems nearly every pitching prospect we have fails at the upper minors or majors. Manoah didn't, but he was only ever projected to be a #3 type guy, and, now that BABIP has regulated, once he settles in, that's probably likely what he is. Cleveland just turns out #2 and above guys multiple times a year.
  14. I hate the love for preserving these BP shitballers instead of giving the flamethrowers in AAA a try with the major league pitching coaches we have up here? Call up Julian & Junior Fernandez and let them work with Pete Walker. Send Pop down and DFA Bass to make room.
  15. And Nick Frasso is being named pitcher of the month in the minors..
  16. Velo will probably go to the upper 90s in a year or so too. So much projectability.
  17. Oh we've watched. We've watched him and his mediocre stuff the entire season so far.
  18. Unfortunately, that seems to be correct with the rotation at least. Bassitt, Manoah, and even Berrios to an extent (8-9 K/9 prior to extension).
  19. This is what happens when you need to rely on BABIP and weak contact to be a good pitcher. This is why strikeouts should always be king when fielding a rotation.
  20. Manoah really is our #5. He's not fooling anyone.
