    I mean sure, but clearly deferring the responsibility hasn't worked with Kirk, Vladdy, & Manoah. At the end of the day, these are young investments that should be providing a ton of surplus value and helping the team, and all are underperforming with many pundits questions their conditioning for their ability to repeat things such as pitch clock mechanics, launch angle swings, etc. Maybe they need micromanaging? You can place the blame on the individual all you want, but, whether they are to blame or not, they're still fat, underperforming and lowering their values.

    Yeah Spencer Strider did it right. Quadzilla looking dude who uses those legs for all the velo he has.

    That's my issue. It was not necessary, it's over-managing. There will be 5 or more pitchers likely now, with 3 used so far and 2 innings to go.

    Schneider or the FO, whomever is making these decisions, just irks me. Just need less.

    You could have had Kikuchi finish the 6th and had Richards for the 7th & 8th, and then Romano for the 9th. Instead we'll likely need to use 4 pitchers or more.

    I just can't understand why Schneider wastes his BP when they're not needed. Kikuchi was at 78 pitches man. Over-managing regardless of result.

    Need to see those K's go up as well as the velo. He was supposed to be a more polished version of Tiedes with the same velo. Reports still sound decent, but he's like 91-95 I believe, currently, and hasn't had a ton of swing & miss this far.

    Dave Hudgens' legit role is Hitting Strategist, which the, by far, our worst performing characteristic as a team. He, absolutely, should be gone.

    Atkins and the entire pitching development staff are cooked. How can they possibly rush Manoah up after that horrendous Single A outing and think he can get major league hitters out consistently? Bring Ryu up and send Manoah down to Dunedin for the rest of the season to get in shape and work in the pitching lab.

    That Vladdy AB is a microcosm of his season. Swinging at low pitches that can't possibly be driven for power. Someone needs to be fired for his hitting approach still not getting fixed after several seasons of the same results.

    This is a very fair question to ask. I think looking at the farm and the major league performance, if we miss the post-season or have another 1st Rd exit, I think Atkins has to get replaced with Click.
