I dont know man I wouldnt say >>>>>>>> Clement has come off two straight 2-3 WAR seasons Sandy was pretty bad last year, and not very good the year before. He throws hard but, his fastball gets hit hard. Not much I see there that there's some sort of silver lining that Sandy can regain his Cy form. His vs LHB vs RHB split is also very concerning. Walks lefties at the double rate and his k% plummets.

This. No way im trading Clement. Hes also pretty much a gold glove calibre infielder at 3B SS and 2B. As others have stated on here id prioritize spending on pitching and bringing back Bo if he's willing to play 2B. Woodruff and Cease are intriguing options to me We should also expect some regression offensively especially from Springer who had a historically great season but he's 36. Unlikely he'll repeat that. If we bring Bo back id be happy to roll back out with the same starting line up to start.

With an amazing track record for durability for Cease, Gausman and Berrios. Bieber too excluding the TJS Yesavge we need to protect. But yes I agree Cease id love it for us to be our top target and bring Bo back Santander being healthy will he a big boost for next year offensively

If we got money this year id love throwing money at Dylan cease. .more than trading for a top end guy that will deplete our farm Cease is a guy i see could have his best years ever with Pete Walker as coach We also need a reliable #6 / long arm guy. I can defienietly see both Scherzer and Bassitt wanting to come back. At this point for them they made their money I can see them coming back for dirt cheap

Id love to bring Bassit back as a bullpen arm I wonder if Bassit has ever contemplated that or would be willing to accept it

Defenietly speaks of his character where other factors > short term money. Gotta give shatkins credit they've assembled and very likeable team full of good characters.

i'm with you on this one. When the jays won the ALCS it felt like such an accomplishment and it personally fulfilled me. Being in the World Series feels like just a bonus. Win or lose this i'll still be happy most importantly for me is that my son and daughter became fellow Blue Jays fans thanks to this run, and i've the pleasure to enjoy this run with them it's honestly priceless. Sports can make such a positive impact in our livelihoods, and if the Jays win this year i'll have no problem with them missing the playoffs for the next 10 years because, i don't think there's anything like the feeling when your team wins the championship for the first time in your life. I became a fan 24 years ago when i moved to Canada, and this has been 24 years in the making for me!
