  1. Sportsnet expanded pre and post game coverage is where they make the immediate payoff for increased viewers It started in september when they expanded from 30 to 60 min pregames, doubling commercial time, and likely able to get a pretty good rate. The post game audiences have been impressive, game 4 was over a million if i remember correctly.
  2. Oh yeah the selfies lol they were insane during regular season...but you nailed, still too many people getting up mid at bat early in innings, pissing me off beyond anything. Why are you here? If its to piss i get it, but every other inning?
  3. My wife said the same thing, surprised no wave. I hate the thing, but it seems more for a relaxed situation. It was too tense every pitch meant something, and i think the crowd was stressed. As for the drunks, wow, just wow. You could see the numbers grow each game down the stretch. They were well behaved in our section, but they were all loud talkers heh The 6-4 run....absolute dead silence, not a word.
  4. We dont drink either, but the beer was flowing like crazy in the 500s. $10.50 domestic, $11.50 premium for tallboys. Haha i pack a cold bag of water and snacks and save money
  5. If Brunt bought this, then EE has good agents guiding him to a be cashin...the Domincan player giving his money away story is as old as dirt, heen told too many times. Not saying it doesnt happen, and that EE doesnt do it, but seriously, that agent PR and guidnce to the player 1000000000%
  6. Sportsnet broadcast deal is for Jays, all postseason, MLB network and MLB.tv. TSN has a national package of Sunday games and select midweek games. Basically, the higher the ratings, for the entire post season broadcasts in canada, jays and non jays games, means Sportsnet will have to cut its US partners a larger cheque once the longterm agreement they have expires and they renegotiate
  7. Cole Hamels vs Jays Game 2 Innings 1/2 2IP, 3H, 1ER, 3R, 0K, 0BB Innings 3-7 5IP, 3H, 1ER, 1R, 6K, 0BB
  8. I think the reality is David Price is a March thru September arm. Might look at starting less early in the season, because he bottoms out in post season. I also go back to the AL East celebration interview with Barry Davis, where Price touched his left shoulder/arm when speaking about not starting the next. Not necessarily an injury, but he looks like his arm may be fatigued....hence the 12 day rest between starts. Pitching relief may end up being his gig for rest of this postseason, get ready for possibility becoming a reality.
  9. App is working fine
  10. Im talking right now, yes yhe level he is playing is defo top 3 in AL. Fielding as good as anyone, has good speed and his hitting is rock solid. Right now, not career, but right now he is. The other guys are playing golf
  11. Sanchez is going to be a stud - Jays will not give up on him, pompey and travis will be an every day players, saunders is done as a fielder with that knee, pillar might be top 2-3 CF in baseball now...Wouldny make any of those trades.
  12. Davis looked like someone was tickling his nipples
  13. Game 1 estrada Game 2 stroman Game 3 price Should things work out so greatly for our beloved bluebirds
  14. Great game for CC, battled that AB but the s*** at the end, yikes. Go jays
  15. Dickey is the right choice here... Rangers will feel a little anxious and some pressure to close out. Knuckler is just the pitch to frustrate a team that has hit left and right handed fastballs hard this series.
  16. Using Dickey shows the confidence this team has in its four starters. Not many other teams still alive have 4 performing at their level in 2nd half of season. No need to be concerned with the "if he blows up", Jays have found their stroke.
  17. Noticed that to about Tulo. Its an electro muscle stimulation, supoosed to help muscle recovery and repair. Iced up as well get the imflammation down. Hes a warrior, happy he found his way at the plate, super huge
  18. I am comvinced todays game will be 9-5 score
  19. Impressed with the plate discipline for the most part. Time to blow it up here
  20. Jays are playing great, cant beat bad luck on that play
