The payroll won't be much different. Is anyone factoring the Canadian dollar into this? -
They'll definitely sign a couple of starters with Price, Buehrle, and Estrada all FA's... And Dickey with an option.

The stuff is good. The command is just a bit off, and Texas has been a thorn in his side. If we win tomorrow I'm confident we'll see the David Price we're used to.

Agreed. If at the beginning of this series they would have said that the Jays would have Price, Stroman, Estrada in Game 1-2-3, and then Price and Stroman for Game 4-5 it would be Fap Nation around here. And with the exception of Price coming in for the 5th inning instead of starting the game in Game 4, that's exactly how it will play out. Not only that, but because Price threw only 50 pitches today, he should be good to be lined up for Game 1, should we get past Texas on Wednesday.

8-2 lead and people are losing their minds. Haha... And Houston just blew a 6-2 lead in the 8th and gave up 7 runs. TAKE NO CHANCES! Lock up Game 4 and then lets get going on Game 5.

Teams that win in the playoffs aren't afraid to be progressive. Conservative thinking gets you buried in the playoffs. Dickey and Price are close to locking up Game 4. And that was the goal. As for game 5. Start Stroman...see where that goes. Maybe Estrada is available for 2-3 innings if need be. In the playoffs, you have to use your entire roster...and quite likely in unconventional ways.
