I think there's a better chance that he re-signs now than there was at the beginning of the season.
If Jose had a Bautista-like season, then someone would've given him a huge offer, not named the Jays. However, he's been pretty lousy this year and those suitors won't be knocking. And since there won't be any big offers (I don't think) out there, the Jays could conceivably offer something competitive as a 'Thank You...and we think you have more in you,' type of offer.
