It's almost like that's their job or something.
Bob knows a lot of people in the industry...a lot. Who knows if someone said something to him in passing that's in the know. It's more likely that he was told something than you or I have a legitimate clue. My point is, I wouldn't be surprised at all if there's some sort of tension there. The team has been pure s*** the past 2 seasons...attendance is down...there's very little for Rogers to be happy about, so why is it so hard to believe that there would be concern and tension with the higher ups. Losing and lack of success creates animosity and frustration. It's very possible that there have been difficult discussions taking place...and I think the truth lies somewhere in that realm. Not that there's necessarily a rift, but that Rogers isn't happy...and Shapiro has heard about it from them. As he should. They're the boss...and he's the one that's going to be held accountable when things are at a low.
