    Good. I want ridiculous contracts to be a thing of the past. If MLB can't get a salary cap built into the CBA then at least it looks like the owners are trying to police themselves. Whether the players cry collusion I don't know...but I'm fine with Harper and Machado being made to sweat it out a bit.

    Does it buy us anything to have Borucki start in AAA? Aside from that I can't see any reason for this. Bottoming out works in some sports but Baseball typically isn't one of those...unless there is some kind of generational phenom that's draft eligible in 2020, which I'm not familiar with.

    Is it just me or was there really not much flutter to those KB's in that video. Maybe the camera angle affects how we view it coming out of a lefties hand.

    Is it just me or is have 4 (consensus) players in the Top 100 typically a little light for a team that's ranked #2-3 overall? I get we have wonderful depth....I just would've figured 1 or 2 more would've cracked that Top 100 to warrant such a lofty overall ranking.

    Seems like the Jays alternate years between a balanced signing period, then a year where they blow their wad on a big ticket item.
