  1. I remember Ichiro did it in 2001. Can't recall if it's happened since.
  2. I'm optimistic even without a win tonight. Not sure why a win tonight would be what pushes you across the finish line.
  3. The talent is there. The results haven't been. Guess our scouts think the results will start matching the talent
  4. Well... If Barker thinks so...
  5. But I'm sure one will probably need to be added this offseason or go the Rule 5 route.
  6. I think that's most likely
  7. He was listed at 200 when he signed at 16 I think.
  8. Bo gives me a Bo...ner.
  9. GCL Blue Jays being no hit through 8
  10. My guess is they'll get one 23-24 year old that's kind of fizzled out but might be a depth piece somewhere in the organization. Plus one 19-20 year old that is moderately regarded... Probably high risk to actually make anything of himself but has some intriguing tools. I don't think either will crack the Jays top 30.
  11. Yennsy Diaz hasn't either. SRF hasn't either.
  12. When in doubt, give up an out with a bunt.
  13. He could've. But his answer was better.
  14. Thank god you have no say in personnel decisions
  15. Is Boxy banned from the podcast too?
  16. I would love making deals with some of you. Fisher was a Top 100 prospect 2 years ago. Everyone should know who he is. Biagini is just a dude...an EASILY replaceable dude. Sanchez hasn't been anything of importance since 2016. If after 3 years of piss poor production (and regression to be frank) you're not ready to cut bait, then congratulations on your team needing 10 years to rebuild.
  17. I didn't watch the game. Did he lose or in the lights or something or was it just a straight f*** up?
  18. Sanchez had been terrible for 3 seasons now. That's a large enough sample size. Whatever happens now... Who cares. That chapter is closed and it's time to move forward. 1 start is hardly enough of a sample to be cocky with the 'I knew we shouldn't have traded Sanchez' talk.
  19. Close this thread.
  20. Meh. Sanchez would've gone 4 innings and given up 6 hits, 4 runs, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts here.
  21. Try not to be in the middle of the circle.
  22. I say by this time next season he's 3-4.
  23. If you come in full of piss and vinegar then you're going to be met with stiff pushback.
  24. Delivery getting out of whack or losing your release point for an inning can happen. Really excited about SWR's upside.
