  1. The 'sort of' was with regards to it being a homer....but not really.
  2. Meh. Everyone knows what he means. "Don't be a f***ing *******, Ronald."
  3. He turned a double into a single by pimping a homer... Sort of.
  4. Isn't it essentially the same thing, semantics be damned
  5. Pick up a woman and introduce her to your headboard
  6. And the Jays need him to excite the casuals for future ticket sales
  7. Not really. Inflammation has a tendency to flare up. My guess is he'll have another flare up before the season is up.
  8. If the Jays come out and say, 'ya...he's fine...minor tweak...he's day to day'...will anyone actually believe it?
  9. What does his HOF status have to do with his ability as a player today?
  10. Look at this f***ing strike zone.
  11. .293 OBP...career year. Oh my.
  12. He's not getting promoted. He's not in the 40 man roster and they're not going to add him.
  13. Are you saying you want a BJ from Boxy?
  14. I expect him to struggle in Dunedin. Historically a very tough league for offense, plus he strikes out like a motherf***er already. Not a great recipe.
  15. Assets is a relative term. We gave up a completely replaceable reliever, a minor leaguer with good plate discipline and defense, but zero power, and a high ceiling arm that's been a massive turd for 3 seasons now... For a top 100 prospect 2 seasons ago with warts of his own. All this deal is, is moving some bodies around, hoping a change of scenery helps some of them, but will most likely help none of them. If any of these players turns into a useful piece for their new teams they should consider it a bonus.
  16. I have no issue with Reese as backup next season. In fact, that's exactly what should happen. I'm impressed with what I've seen from him defensively. But Jansen is the better catcher and should absolutely be the starter. He will be very good for years to come. If Reese ever gets to the point where he's actually challenging Jansen for playing time we should consider ourselves extremely lucky.
  17. I guess, but you can have any food prepared poorly and have a bad experience...I've had a mediocre lasagna before...but I know it's f***ing awesome when done right. His position is that even great poutine sucks. That just cannot stand.
  18. Sounds like you're talking about Sanchez... Or SRF.
  19. Griffin Conine with his 20th HR of the season. Lansing up 19-1
  20. Probably... But on the bright side, they'll only show them if Jr is close to his dad..... You know, the HOF guy.
