  1. '09 Yankees were pretty good. Teixera Cano Jeter Rodriguez
  2. I think one of Teo or Gurriel are moved next offseason. The other is plus Chapman walk as free agents. This team will get too expensive real fast. Might as well go balls deep this year and see what happens.
  3. Say Hi to the Dutton's for me.
  4. Problem is that's not the only thing he hits.
  5. Atlanta already signed him to a 2 year deal
  6. Shatkins is waiting for JRam to have a sluggish 2022 and for Cleveland to fall out of the race, at which point they'll sweep in and land him for Adam Kloffenstein, Jordan Groshans, and Cavan Biggio, who will all have bounceback seasons and have their top value.
  7. The edge goes to 2022 minus the bullpen.
  8. I think a lot of them went away years ago. I wasn't a Shatkins supporter initially but they earned my trust and respect.
  9. I'm still a little terrified that as good as this team is on paper, a s***** bullpen flushes it all down the toilet again. I hope I'm just underrating our pen but I'm not completely confident in them.
  10. Agreed. Close the thread.
  11. If you compare this to the Donaldson deal Hoglund is Barreto (prospect with highest ceiling, but not a perfect prospect). Smith is Lawrie (only Lawrie actually showed something in MLB). The others are throw ins. Good deal.
  12. f*** Sale. And f*** everyone else in the AL East.
  13. I'd think another trade might be more likely...or they'll hold off and save the money for a deadline deal once they see where in season needs take them.
  14. I'm gonna love hearing the casuals comment on a .210 avridge with 200 K's.
  15. Hope not. It's not like Chapman had a good year with the bat last season. His value isn't what it used to be.
  16. Does that close the door on Freeman for the Yanks?
  17. Why is everyone so insistent on adding another 1B/DH?
  18. You guys are getting so Darvished.
  19. To be fair though...if you want to compare it to NHL 3-on-3 OT, what about removing 1 outfielder on the defensive side of things for extra innings. I was thinking about removing an infielder too but you'd probably have 20 run innings if you did that.
  20. It's better than a ghost runner. At least you have tie breakers based on things that actually happened throughout the course of the game. Not a manufactured head start.
  21. Might as well just have a home run hitting contest to decide the game.
