    They really were in between especially with flaherty throwing a f*** ton of off speed, I want to say he recorded very little strikes with the fastball all game it probably f***ed up their game plan big time. Just a weird game, hard to draw any conclusions, but belt does look goofy at the plate right now. Regardless I think he should get a lot of rope he hasn’t played much all spring, and him panning out would be nice to have another lefty on the team. Even if he doesn’t though they can just rotate the players through the DH spot and have the Kirk + Jansen lineup once or twice a week.

    Walking Santana after the wild pitch is something I would have considered. Mariners bottom of the lineup is atrocious.

    Hard to trade Kirk for me, he's arguably our best hitter with elite bat to ball profiles while playing one of the most important positions in the game. He's also stupidly young, any weight issues shouldn't catch up to him and the team until he's pending free agency.

    Romano should have started the 8th, it was the teeth of the lineup and it was still a close game. Baseball thinking is backwards when it comes to closers. If Jays didn't score in the bottom half Romano can close the game in the 9th, yeah he's probably burnt for game 3 but at least there is a game three.
