  1. We need another Pillar so we can go to a two man outfield, since Bautista is a DH in RF
  2. Bautista is such a bad fielder
  3. Time to turn Believeland into Shamblesland
  4. 25 more outs
  5. The math teacher in me is getting at his incorrect formula with the lack of brackets. Even though I know exactly what he means lol. Runs+RBI-HR/GP. By math, you would do the HR divided by games first. 99 runs 42 home runs 127 rbi 160 gp. Therefore according to BEDMAS, Encarnacion's ZARP is 99+127-42/160 = 99+127-0.26 =225.74 (instead of 1.15)
  6. Pitchers know that they can walk eddy see cause all Bautista does is look for the home run with men on base and then swings and whiffs a bunch
  7. 10 batters, 9 grounder 7 ground ball out,2 ground ball hits, 1 K
  8. Martin is batting 1.000 in the 6 hole this series
  9. Throws away sunglasses because he can't see Next pitch....whiff
  10. Tulo is going to get a 2 out rbi in the first inning to give us a 1-0 lead, promptly followed by a Martin out
  11. Edwin was singing the Canadian anthem. Resigning confirmed 😀
  12. while the idea isn't bad, do you want to risk messing up some of the hitters' timing by batting against dickey? Unless you make Dickey's team = carrera/pill/bautista/Donaldson/tulo/barney/encarnacion/martin; and stromans team = upton/saunders/pompey/goins/????/????/smoak/navarro No DHs so 8 hitters per team and all the bench players hitting against dickey. Or probably better is just that it is stroman + 2 relievers vs a team of 6 relievers in a 6 inning game. With everyone going 1 inning and Stro 4
  13. Dermody's going? That means he won't be in the ALCS or WS celebrations like the WC one
  14. With the sweep, now we get into a dilemma on who should start because all of our starters will be on substantial rest. Sanchez - 5th day since Game 3 Happ - 7th day since Game 2 Estrada - 8th day since Game 1 Stroman - 10th day since WC Game What do you do? We essentially have hit the reset button as no one will be unavailable. Stroman would've gone today in Game 4, do you go to him because he was next and don't want an even longer layoff? Do you reset the ALDS order and go Estrada-Happ-Sanchez-Stroman? Do you go with Sanchez on regular rest and keep one player on a normal schedule as opposed to none? I think they go Stroman-Happ-Estrada-Sanchez (righty/lefty/righty and limiting Sanchez's innings)
  15. Thole is gone that much is obvious. Barney I would bring back. Solid utility infielder. Not exceptional offensively, but provides what you need from a utiliyman. Carrera will be brought back. We love to hate him, but he's earned another contract. Stroman, no words needed. Loup is who I am on the fence about. He did used to be one of our top relievers a couple years ago. $1.2 may be a bit much based on the past couple years, but I'm on the fence about whether to simply cut ties or give him one more shot.
  16. Look what somebody did to his wikipedia, the name change is meh, but the change to his Bats/Throws is gold lol/ "Throws: Terribly" http://i.imgur.com/nmXRjkH.png
  17. Interesting. I've updated the opening post
  18. Just got a notification from The Score app. Barnes on roster for the series, Liriano is out. Has a concussion EDIT: Contrary to my original post, stating Liriano was out for ALCS as well, according to the MLB Concussion Protocol, there is an exception to the normal injury rules which state that an injured player must automatically miss the next series. Therefore, there is the potential for Liriano to return for the ALCS. More to come
