Anyone know the name of the song they played as the Jays took the field and warmed up before the first? It sounded like they played it once for Martin before one of his at bats too but I could be wrong (Normally they play Marvin Gay or something) It was a catchy hip hop mashed with rock type tune. see my previous post. You can see what they are selling for right now. Not the ones listed, but the ones that have actually sold. You should be able to make triple, maybe even quadruple.

I just sold 4 tickets in section 129 for triple their face value for Sept 20 vs Boston. The profit I made on those 4 tickets is going to pay for my Saturday 100 level seats, plus my hotel, plus the day tomorrow at African Lion Safari for my entire family. And if you look at whats already been sold for game 1 of the ALDS, the cheapest tickets sold on Stubhub were for $160 each USD and they were 500 level. That is more than $210 CDN a ticket, and the face value on the ticket is only $50. Remember I'm talking about tickets that have already been sold, and that was the cheapest pair sold on stubhub so far for that game. The better seats have sold for far more than that. People are willing to pay $500 for platinum tickets to watch the s***** last place Leafs in this town. They'll spend that much to be part of a Jays playoff run. I'm figuring I can get double the value for my tickets, if not triple. Ultimately its going to be pricey for those not able to buy them direct. The Governator is right - sitting at home is a good option too. If I wasn't fortunate to be able to get 2 tickets due to having a voucher pack, I'd probably be watching from home come October too.

Right now Jays tickets for regular season games the rest of the way are consistently selling for more than double face value on stubhub. I just paid 2.5 times face value on stubhub for outfield tickets to Saturday's game and those were some of the cheapest available. Thats the way it is now. The new reality. Those without their own tickets already will either need generous friends or a lot of money to watch a game live.

No offense, but if you are willing to pay "up to 20% above face" you'd better have some pretty good friends with tickets. I'd be an idiot to sell to a stranger for 20% or less mark up. They are going to be at least triple value on stubhub. I'm planning on selling a couple of my pairs to close friends for face value, the rest I'm going to sell for fair market value on stubhub.
