  1. Wow game 4 tickets available for less than $80 on stubhub with almost 8800 still available, I would expect them to come lower still!
  2. Monday's Game 3 (home game 1) will be a night game but I would guess every game when paired with the NLCS will be a day game so Mets/Cubs will get the primetime slot, so Tuesday and Wednesday (if needed) will be around a 3.30pm to 5pm start time, especially as Chicago who are hosting are on central time.
  3. I'm more than willing to write Price's ALDS troubles off as a problematic matchup with the Rangers. I hope and expect his ace status to be reinforced against the Royals
  4. Really.......... there's no room for hating anyone right now! Enjoy this feeling!
  5. Extend them both please --- heart over head - they came up huge today in the clutch.
  6. Umpire waved the play dead before Odor crossed the plate
  7. The temperature forecast for Wednesday would mean the roof would be closed even if the Jays (not the MLB) controlled the decision.
  8. As a Brit who emigrated last August, being born into and brought up in an environment where football (Sorry soccer) is the national game and following my local team home and away for decades. I have been to a couple of TFC games and the fans are great and it is clearly a growing product but it will never be the same for me and MLS needs to shake its schtick that it's where footie stars go for their last contract when they can no longer hack it in their own nation's leagues. So Baseball is the game that I get my live sports fix from. I first went to a game during a visit in 2006 and like the European fans on here used to be glued to MLB.tv in the early hours, now it's flipped and I watch/listen to my soccer team in the UK and go the Dome for the Jays. My first full season here and we end the playoff drought, anyone would think I'm driving the bandwagon.
  9. Exactly it'll be so hot and sticky in there today. ridiculous decision it would be open in these conditions for a regular season game.
  10. 2 x section 519 row 6 tickets for today were just sold for $35 someone was super twitchy - they beat me to it too
  11. A totally amateur effort on his part, he clearly needs to work on his target audience - Surely there are better internet sites than a Blue Jays forum to pretend to be a highly sexed 16 yr old girl
  12. Multiple browsers on the computer and multiple phones with apps on the 22nd, should we still be in this thing then
  13. Friday's gm 6 would have been wed's game 5 if we were playing KC though surely
  14. I hope that Houston beat KC for you then
  15. Same for me at one point less than 1 minute but now churning at approx 15 mins ah well ... at least it was worth a punt.
  16. probably but my inner trouba kicked in when thinking how I'd feel if we were knocked out of the playoffs. anyway 6 mins and counting
  17. Whatever happens it will be disappointing if we get knocked out but at least it won't be the Yankees that could do that now because I would have been absolutely gutted if that would have happened.
  18. Could I respectfully request that you avoid any spats with posters who may put you on an ignore list so we have to get a new thread. Or any mods that may ban you and delete your account. Many Thanks in advance
  19. It seems that for Friday many 500 level tickets are at low $100's - get in the building price, any under $100 seem to be getting snapped up quickly - I think the market will quiet down tomorrow for the release of the final face value ALCS allocation. At least it's more interesting to watch how the secondary playoff ticket market develops in October than wondering about next season for a change.
  20. Using the numbers supplied today so far we have ... Gm 1 - 1243 less today - almost 3x that amount left to sell in about 45 hrs before the first pitch and the prices have continued to fall. Gm 2 - 695 less today - over 8x that amount left to sell with less than 66 hrs before the first pitch of Gm2 Gm 5 - 168 more today supply increasing quicker than demand for the game if needed. This would suggest that there is a demand for Gm 1 tickets which will keep the price relatively steady but for Gm 2 in particular with the lunchtime start there could be serious falls in the prices before the demand starts to pick up. The best value for secondary market buyers should be in Gm 2 - If I was looking to buy this is the game I would look to wait out the nervous sellers. I also believe Gm 5 should increase in price if this game is needed as this game will be the decider.
  21. I would have thought that buyers will only benefit given that there are currently still thousands of tickets available for Gms 1, 2 and 5 of the ALDS. The sellers will be the ones that may lose out if potential ALDS buyers are able to get face value ALCS for about an hour in the morning. According to stubhub the current ALDS tickets available are... Gm 1 - 3383 remaining Gm 2 - 5586 remaining Gm 5 - 6746 remaining Those numbers and basic economics suggest that prices will continue to fall whilst the supply is plentiful.
  22. On the event page of the phone app currently... gm 1 - 4626 left gm 2 - 6281 left gm 3 - 6578 left
