Ad augusta per angusta. The Twins have brutal SP but they were winning for some reason... we should have swept that entire series. We were lucky to catch the Astros at the beginning of a tailspin (they aren't as good as they have been). Didn't think we'd stand a chance vs. the Nats SP, but we persevered.

I don't think that will ever change. He's made it pretty clear he doesn't want to change. But he's putting better swings on the ball and making better contact lately.

Even better Blue Jays are #1 in baseball in BsR. People think the Royals have a strong running game, they don't. It may be more timing then anything else, especially last year during the play-offs.

OK perhaps, not sure I'd say that's elite. .900+ OPS is prob elite?

OK.............................. board full of Cptn' Obvious's. There are two main things that affect performance: injury and age. Bautista was playing through injury (and may still be), he wasn't necessarily elite during that time. I never said he wasn't elite in general, I said 'right now', which I thought he was still under-performing... and a couple people, so kindly I might add, already corrected me on this.
