No it wasn't. He was shaded well to centre because of who was batting. You play deep no doubles in that situation every single time.

That's a no-doubles situation. You ALWAYS play deep there. Even still, the base coaches are supposed to be positioning the OF/IN. Gibby can't do everything.

I didn't mind any of his moves tonight, that's my opinion. The issues I had with this game are: 1) Reyes and his derp arm throwing error 2) Cecil walking a batter after Cola made that great play 3) Overall poor plate discipline by most of the Blue Jays hitters 4) Hendriks poor first pitch to Flores

Good idea on Kennedy but will Padres want to trade him? They invested in a lot of talent to compete this year and in the near future... Who will he replace in the rotation? Not much of an upgrade over Estrada... maybe if Sanchez doesn't work out. Personally I'd like to dump Dickey.
