    Last one in Phoenix turns the lights off. That embarrassment needs to end now.

    %100 percent agreed. The part that got my attention was when the commentators kept mentioning that Springer was "sick" or whatever it was. That is totally fine but how about they introduce him back into the lineup in the 7 spot instead of waiting and putting as number 1. It is fine that he was not feeling well, put him wherever a bench player would fit in until he is %100.

    I think that this is one of the last "old school" beliefs that need to change. The idea that guys "have their place in the lineup" and that it can't change or shouldn't change. In the field you are expected to react to various situations but at the plate the players are incapable of moving up and down the line-up? A batter can react to a completely different f***ing strike-zone each night but can't handle moving from 1 to 7th in the line-up? A pitcher can go from starter to mop-up to long relief but a batter can't change spots? You make millions a year you bat where the manager says you bat.

    9HR's with an obp under .200. That is a crazy statline. Hard to have a lot of expectation for him but also hard to give up on him as well.

    What the f*** did I just watch?! Amazing D? Smart plays?? A manager left the starter in when it made sense??? Loved a lot of things in this game. Great throw by Kirky, aggressive baserunning by KK, mostly good abs. That was fun to watch.

    Agreed. Also Vladdy made a great reaction play getting the ball on the rebound and getting to Jansen to have a play at the plate. I hope he went back to the dugout and yelled "Nah!" to Bo like his annoying peanut-butter commercials...

    Bedard is a huge Canucks fan. He literally grew up watching his favourite team battle the Shithawks. Plus the whole incident with Kyle Beach and management and players apparently knowing about it really stains their franchise. Google Blackhawks scandals or something like that if you want to read about it. They should have been punished a lot more severely but Bettman is a slimy f*** that works for the owners 100%.

    If any of you haven't listened to the Vancouver Canadians games on Sportsnet 650, the announcer Rob Fai is really good. I enjoy listening to his play by play.

    Varsho with a 1.086 OPS the last 7 games. Hopefully that swing change he made means he stays productive. Nice to see him getting results at the plate. Easy player to cheer for.

    This is just SO the Bluejays. It has been crazy how %30 of the hitters carried the results for a while and then maybe 2 more regs picked up to carry the load. On the r pitching side nobody was more than 2 games away from an outing to watch for and worry about. No one in the minors is forcing mgmts hand to get promoted or playing lights out Just a real sense of malaise over many parts of the system... Maybe they started with too much intensity early in spring? Wrong message? Interesting to analyze the ebbs and flows of the beginning of the mlb season with the starts of minor keague camps and sites. Thoughts?

    Wow. That game was pure ass... Kirk and Espinal both with their third errors of the season. Kirk doesn't need to worry at all but Espinal batting .191 needs to be looking over his shoulder...except his competition is Biggio. f*** me. Gausman start tomorrow is perfect timing. Hopefully he dominates tomorrow and gets the team back on track and gets the pen some rest.
