    Hope Jackson puts himself in position to maybe be the opener or long man in 5 days. Pearson, Richards and then Jackson on Manoahs next start?

    Agreed he needs to go on the IL. He should spend at least a month at the pitching clinic working on conditioning and getting help with his psyche. Leave him down for as long as it takes. Took Berrios several moths to get fixed (knock on wood) and he has a much longer proven track record than Manoah does.

    Bassitt in BEAST mode tonight. What a game from him. Nice wave to the Mets fans on his way off the mound as well. What a professional outing from him. Great D from Springer and Chapman as well. Made huge plays that could have easily swung the game in the Mets favour. Way to go Varsho on Lou Gehrig night! Love that he came through and shut the dipshit haters on this board up.

    I don't feel foreign or uncomfortable but I do sense that the narrative has little to do with my perceived situation. My actual life certainly does. A society to an outsider may seem in uniform...but the newcomer feels the same ostracization.

    Vlad looked like he more of a plan at the plate tonight which was nice to see. Hopefully he gets on a nice run on this home-stand. Pearson looked great tonight! Just easy heat and big bends on his off-speed stuff. Good win tonight!

    Agree with this. Plus he looks a lot heavier this year so his cardio might be worse. I love Kirky and Manoah in principle, but honestly to be a professional athlete and have conditioning affect your performance is 100% ********. Kiermaier should take some of these guys out back and slap them. I respect hustle that equals a career over talent any day.

    At least at catcher we have a few decent veterans that can do the basics of taking care of the pitching staff while having maybe league average at bats. Seems like catching depth is better at AAA than starting and relief pitching?
