  1. Thinking the same! I like to watch him pitch when it isn't against us! (Though it would have been cool to see what kind of reception he would get on the mound in TO...I assume a big round of applause since we want to sign him this off-season?)
  2. This loss wasn't on Schneider per se but was it a predictable outcome based on his perchance for pulling starters too early too often. It results in guys with bullets left in the chamber sitting on the bench and thinking they could have gone longer AND guys being used too much or being left in too long in relief. Not including Bassitt tonight but jays left at least 40 pitches from their starters the week or so as wasted pitches the BP had to make up.
  3. Not sure why "Sixto" pointed out that Pham was 35 years old. How old does the dude think MILFS are? 35 and milfs...the math works.
  4. I wouldn't mind Teo back as long as he never gets in the outfield. Don't trust John Schneider enough to do it though.
  5. You would have to assume that Berrios, Gausman and Bassitt are starters 1-3 in the post-season followed by whoever is throwing the best between Ryu, Manoah and Kikuchi. That puts the 2 remaining in the BP to be long man? Add in Green and unless you can get a lights out closer/set-up man, where are you adding to the bullpen that will makes sense? On the field they aren't likely to replace any of the infield and Springer and KK aren't going anywhere. Really only a power bat for LF? I just don't see a lot of moves that seem likely and would make sense for what you would need to trade to get them. The team has kid of backed itself into a corner regarding what they have on their roster.
  6. That would be one of the best match-ups of the season. If not Gasman it will be Manoah I assume?

  8. What was that in the 3rd? 3 outs on 6 pitches? ffs...

  10. The Yankees can have this policy and the Jays can't tell players to stay in shape? )Since 1973, the New York Yankees has enforced an appearance policy regulating how their players must be presented. It states that players must have their hair cut above the collar of their baseball jersey and no beards are permitted. Seems odd.
  11. Is it just my imagination or are the Jays facing a TON of pitchers that they have never seen this year? I try to check the previews of the match-ups pre-game and they are blank more often that not.
  12. As long as Ryu can come back and keep his 4-seem a tick over 90 he should be pretty effective I think. He maxed right around 90 in his last rehab start. Also a big bonus that him and Manoah seem to really get a long well. They can support each other.
  13. Article on BlueJaysNation by Cam Lewis on Chad Green The 32-year-old righty was the opener for the Low-A Dunedin Blue Jays on Saturday and he tossed a scoreless inning. Green threw 10 pitches, eight of which were strikes, and his fastball averaged 94.5 miles per hour, which is right around where it was pre-surgery during the 2022 season. That's good too see, Keep crossing our fingers.
  14. They mentioned on Blair and Barker this past week that he was the unfit type of overweight. They insinuated that the brass were not happy about it.
  15. Frustrating game to watch for sure. As a casual fan you are watching the game and being full-on "what the f*** are they doing that for" is kinda alarming. Schneider s batter and pitcher subs tonight opened up a lot of questions.
  16. Another very tidy draft from this head office. Great value all around from their picks.
  17. If Espinal starts I will take him. If not I will take Whit.
  18. I'll take Vladdy on Friday
  19. Glad to see Whit in LF and Espinal at 2nd. Vatsho can sit for a few games

  22. It feels a bit personal between the Angels and the Dodgers right now. Like the Dodgers have had some discussion with Ohtani and/or the Angels. Angels owners basically saying OVER PAY or FU. The messaging between the teams seems to be chest thumping and random projections
  23. Thank you for that! That is way more punitive than I would have thought.
  24. That makes sense. How does that work?
