    Oh man... I didn't buy any of Arod's BS ( ), but it's so hard to tell if Cola's for real or just full of s*** and that interview was just the progression of players putting on an act for the camera.

    Man do you guys like Shulman so far? His call on the EE homerun was depressing af, thought it was a flyout at first (heard the call while looking away). Would much rather get routinely Bucked.

    Tulo's struggles imo seem to be more with his approach or getting over matched/age I think the majority of his hitting success came from being able to hit flat fastballs in the NL. In the AL you see more movement and at times he looks like he can't catch up to the straight one's either (age/injury as you said)

    I think Travis back in the lineup will get things rolling Something like Saunders JD JB EE Travis Smoak Pillar Martin Tulo Batting Martin and Tulo at the bottom imo is perfect cuz they are usually either auto outs, draw a walk, or hit doubles/ hr's which rolls nicely into the top of the order. Ned Yost isn't our manager so I know this probably never happens, but it would be nice.

    I think he's fine physically judging from his numbers at the plate. He probably just realized that he's an older player going into a contract year and that ridiculous play cost him a lot of time (and could have been worse). Also he was a bat only player even at that point so really why bother trying to maybe gun down 4-5 guys in a season? Need to see him throw more though, that one throw he made to Goins at cutoff was pretty suspect.

    Would be nice to see him locate and get ahead with the 4 seam and then use the change up/2 seam to get guys out rather than whatever he's doing now, but at the same time the 2 seam is generating a lot of weak contact for him atm. Once he throws the 2 seam early in the count it's hard to go to anything else b/c hitters are locked in low and won't chase high 4sm / will rock it if he misses because it has no movement in comparison to the 2 sm. I think that's why he traps himself a bit. Tries to use that spin rate all the time.

    You'd think he would at least get himself in a position to pitch a few innings in the big leagues before stuff like this gets picked up as news...Last yr he was warming his way to throw off a mound for the first time in yrs??? (and then didn't even get around to that?) Imo the rotation can only be improved by trading Dickey and something good for a #1/2 _______ Stroman Estrada Happ Sanchez Chavez Hutch

    Why do managers feel relievers can't pitch 1 inning 4 games in a row, but starters can pitch 9 innings in a single game? Sometimes I think relievers have it too easy these days looking at what guys like Storen and Lowe make compared to guys like Happ and Estrada. In a 4 game series, relievers should be able to pitch in at least 3 of 4.
