    I'd prefer Markakis over Melky and Rasmus but I agree with you RIPEXPOS spend the money left on Shields then Melky... Markakis if we cannot sign a top SP. Rasmus if it means we get Shields.

    Why would you think that? Huge fan of Gordon but our needs right now are SP, Bullpen and Average LF or Platoon IMO. Pitching is still required even with a stacked lineup

    What a deal for the Jays! The trade is typical for Oakland follow their same logic for years now ( not counting last year, they decided to make a push ). I'm hoping that Lawrie does well in Oakland, he was one of my favourites to watch just too much of a hot head at times and the injuries got out of hand. Adding Donaldson was worth it

    Rebuild? No way. We have the potential to be a playoff team. We have a perfect mix right now of veteran players and young players with a decent prospect pool. We have a few moves left this off season but I truly like the makeup so far

    Sad but true. I would like to see Bruce in Toronto but I'm thinking the price tag via trade would be higher then I'd be willing to pay

    Care to explain why? I don't think he's the right fit as I prefer to re-sign Melky or go with younger talent Also AA cannot move Dickey after that trade. He has to ride him out and hope for the best...which imo is the way to go with Dickey

    To say AA hasn't made big moves during his time is crazy. I don't want Panda on this team and Lawrie is the guy like it or not. SP is a problem that I don't think they will fix. There is depth to our rotation and when there is depth, there is hope...he will hope. They will continue to try to fix the bullpen ex. Miller Personally I'd love to see Shields workhorse, Andrew Miller, Melky Cabrera, and Chase Headley. Not going to happen except Miller and maybe Melky/Headley
