  1. I imagine you are a 50 year old, 350 lb couch potato who drinks 2 liters of Pepsi a day and a couple of large bags of chips. Probably you never made it through high school. I guess you can imagine yourself as being cool on a baseball forum with a name like Candy Maldonado. But let's be honest, you are just a loser based on you piling on to other posters with the immature kids.
  2. Right clown, are you delusional enough to think the Blue Jays match up with the Yankees?
  3. You have a problem with the truth? The Blue Jays have to be perfect to have a chance against the Yankees. I knew today's game was over when Tulowitzki's error gave them 2 runs.
  4. Winning tomorrow might give some Blue Jays fans false hope, but in reality the Blue Jays can't match up with the Yankees or Red Sox. The only way that the Blue Jays can match up with the Yankees is if several of the Yankees are out with injuries; and just to be clear, I despise the Yankees.
  5. They really are a last place team. Here is a link to the standings you fool - http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/standings/index.jsp What an incredibly stupid comment, JaysAllMighty. The Toronto Hummingbirds are losing again, isn't it great that the old, worn out, regulars are back to bury this team.
  6. Unfortunately, the Blue Jays are what they are, a last place team.
  7. The team name Blue Jays is so weak. It is embarrassing following a team with a name that to me, is about as fierce as a hummingbird. Might as well just call them the Toronto Hummingbirds. I cringe every time I hear the name Blue Jays, it makes it even tougher that this is the team that I follow on a daily basis.
  8. Yes, I was wrong about JD, he already has his swing back. Good for him. But how long will it take Tulowitzki to get his swing back.
  9. Making up your own words now. Time to put your big boy pants on. Blue Jays lineup looks absolutely weak compared to the Yankees lineup. Toronto Raptors, Argonauts and Maple leafs are a joke.
  10. It is the biggest city in Canada, and Torontonians like to remind the rest of Canada that they are the biggest and best (in their opinion). I grew up in the Maritimes and nobody thinks that the Maritime Provinces are the best in Canada. Likewise with Hamiltonians, they have a completely different mindset.
  11. So you are suggesting that I cheer for a US team.
  12. Well outside Toronto. I lived in Hamilton for several years and the people are completely different - likable and humble. Torontonians suck. That is why I wish the Montreal Expos would come back - I am a very reluctant Blue Jays fan. However, it is so much fun watching the Maple Leafs lose year after year.
  13. The worse thing about being a Blue Jays fan is having to deal with obnoxious Torontonians. However, there is some solace in watching them lose. in that the obnoxious Torontonians will be upset. There is a good reason why so many Canadians across Canada can't stand Torontonians. My prediction for tonight's game is that Lariano will walk 5 in 5 innings, will be wild from the 1st inning and will give up 4 runs (or more) by the 5th inning. He likely won't make it past the 5th inning.
  14. If Jonn knew my address then there is no question that I would report it. Unfortunately, I have no real knowledge of who Jonn, you or others are. To register for this forum I had to give my email address which contains my name - for all I know you might have access to that information. So any physical threat is a real threat. One real question - how does a prick like you survive in the real world? Do you just stay in the house all day long and live off your parents? I can't imagine you being able to hold down a job.
  15. Back your intelligent debate with facts, not what you think. Are you drawing your conclusions from 10 years ago? Do you feel confident that Liriano can give the Blue Jays a good game on most nights. I certainly am not, what I see is a pitcher that can be good for about 4 innings and then is beat by the 5th inning. However, there is a chance he will be wild from the 1st inning on. Here is Liriano's game log from 2017 - http://www.fangraphs.com/statsd.aspx?playerid=3201&position=P - what is it about this game log that indicates consistency? He has gotten past the 6th inning in one out of 7 games this year. Look at how many walks he has given up. He doesn't give up many hits because hitters can't predict where his pitches will be, nor can the Blue Jays catcher. Please respond like an adult, not like some kid with no real facts.
  16. I stated the obvious, that Liriano is no more dependable than Bolsinger, and all the kids posted their insults and silly gifs. However, what can I expect from kids who like to watch baseball but are too immature to communicate in an adult manner.
  17. Obviously we know that nothing would happen if I did send it to the RCMP, twits like Jonn are a dime a dozen. I just took a screen capture and will save it on my computer.
  18. Or perhaps your post should be forwarded on to the RCMP. You are threatening to break into my house and destroy my personal property. I think that you feel that you are being clever, all I see in your posts is a smart-ass who isn't very smart, but certainly is an ass.
  19. His stats for 2017 are similar to Francisco Liriano: http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=11137&position=P versus http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=3201&position=P . One never knows what one will get from Liriano, either a gem, or a game of poor control (mostly the latter). At least with Bolsinger, one can expect consistent mediocrity.
  20. Bolsinger seems to have some potential. His last couple of performances weren't terrible.
  21. The New York Mets are playing Jose Reyes almost every day and his numbers are worse than Ryan Goins - http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=1736&position=SS versus http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=9807&position=2B/SS I would go with Ryan Goins over Jose Reyes any day. People are peeved because of Ryan Goins error in the 9th yesterday, but when Jose Reyes was in Toronto, every play at SS was an adventure. Not every team has a Tulowitzki on their team. Ryan Goins isn't a star but he is reliable at SS and that is why Gibbons played him while Tulowitzki was out, and why management kept him over Melvin Upton Jr. Unfortunately for Goins, if he gets traded then I see him as a journeyman player bouncing from team to team with stints in AAA.
  22. I am learning from the best, Spanky. After tonight the Blue Jays will either be 5.5 out of first, or within 1 game of the Orioles. Either situation would make me happy. Another positive note, most of the Blue Jays regulars are rested for the game against the Yankees Thursday night. The Yankees will have to play the Orioles tonight, and then fly into Toronto.
  23. I said he should be moved down until he shows that he has his timing back. I want to be wrong, and it seems that I am, but let's wait another week to be sure, and then I will admit to being wrong. In any case, my concern was that the Blue Jays would drop in the standings while Tulowitzki and Donaldson got their timing back, but that hasn't happened so I am happy to be wrong.
  24. To play in the MLB, a player needs to have confidence. However, Goins really is a utility player, he has shown this season that if he is overplayed then his offensive numbers drop off dramatically. Hopefully Goins will keep his confidence but also accept his role as a utility player.
  25. Is that word above your comprehension level? Sorry if it left you dumbfounded
