Back your intelligent debate with facts, not what you think. Are you drawing your conclusions from 10 years ago? Do you feel confident that Liriano can give the Blue Jays a good game on most nights. I certainly am not, what I see is a pitcher that can be good for about 4 innings and then is beat by the 5th inning. However, there is a chance he will be wild from the 1st inning on.

He has gotten past the 6th inning in one out of 7 games this year. Look at how many walks he has given up. He doesn't give up many hits because hitters can't predict where his pitches will be, nor can the Blue Jays catcher.
