  1. What is the Blue Jays' record in extra innings?
  2. Great game so far. I guess everyone knows that this is yesterday's GDT.
  3. It is a tough loss, but Sanchez was given the chance at the complete game and he gave up a single and double to start the 9th. So Sanchez was partly at fault for the team loss.
  4. As disappointing as this game was, the Kansas City Royals, after starting to look like a championship team again, have now lost 6 straight games and two of their best players. So I guess it could be even worse for the Blue Jays. As good as Sanchez was tonight, he was the one who gave up the two leadoff hits in the 9th.
  5. Maybe Bautista and Edwin will learn a lesson from this game and be less selfish in upcoming games. One can only hope that something positive will come out of this game.
  6. This seems to be the story of the Blue Jays for the past few years. That have a good couple of weeks and then lay an egg.
  7. I think Biagini has pitched well but has had bad luck today.
  8. I guess they had to take a chance at 3rd. See if Detroit can do what the Blue Jays couldn't.
  9. At least they have extra innings. The Blue Jays will have to score quickly, this Detroit team is frightening at the plate.
  10. The Blue Jays seem to have so much trouble scoring when they have a runner at 3rd and none out. Martin needs to come through.
  11. Detroit has a good team but after 12 games against Boston and New York, I find it difficult to have the same interest in this series. Hopefully tonight's game will be a fun one to watch.
  12. I actually thought this was a very satisfying win. Osuna threw 3 straight, tough pitches in a row after getting down 3-0 and in danger of loading the bases. If the Blue Jays lost this one there would have been many very disappointed fans.
  13. I agree. BABIP doesn't give representative data for home run hitters. It can take 0.070 or more off the BABIP for a 40 home run hitter.
  14. Osuna made it interesting. At least he came through when he had to.
  15. Osuna doesn't pitch well when there isn't a save opportunity. Biagini should have gone in.
  16. So far through 8 innings the BABIP IS 0.000 for both teams. All balls in play have been put outs.
  17. I don't think the game will be called, just delayed so I think the Blue Jays should add some more runs. The win is more important than the no-hitter.
  18. I didn't hear it, I based it on the radar image.
  19. A joint no-hitter would be fine. Who will finish it - Biagini is my guess.
  20. Looks like a 1 hour rain delay starting within the next 10 minutes.
  21. One fly out by the Red Sox went 415 feet earlier in the game. Luckily that part of center field is 420 feet.
  22. Hopefully the next 2 1/2 innings will be quick. Normally Bautista wouldn't have swung at that ball 4. It certainly looks dark on the field.
