    Man it's going to be strange seeing the Jays without Batista. For all intent and purposes he represents the Jays that I cheered for the most. Used to be Doc, but I remember really loving this team in two different eras 2003 starting with Hallway and 2010 starting with Bautusta

    Shatkins will make very competent above average moves But they will not hit the homeruns like AA and JP had with Donaldson EE Batista etc. They will also not have huge mistakes like Synder They are just very competent

    Goins is definitely in, you need 2 infielders on the bench in the playoffs. Especially with Fragile Tulo.

    I wouldn't pitch Benoit ahead of Biagini, but this is not the season to Trust Cecil. He simply isn't getting the outs this year. Now if he comes back better, he comes back better. For now though, I don't want him in any important game.

    Benoit has been lights out, even touched 96 That statement is crazy, not to mention Benoit has successfully pitched in some huge games in the playoffs.

    Believe it or not I dont think Cecil is a guarantee at all to make the post season roster Lineup RF Bautista CF Pillar LF Saunders DH EE 1B Smoak C Martin 3B Donaldson SS Tulo 2B Travis Bench C Navarro OF Upton INF Barney OF Carrerra/Pompey INF Goins Thats 14 Starters Sanchez Stroman Happ Estrada Thats 18 So 7 relievers Osuna Benoit Grilli Biagini Liriano Feldman Cecil But if any of Schultz, Tapera, outshines in September, I'd take them in over Cecil, Especially if I can bring in Liriano as the Lefty. If he is in, I honestly don't see a reason for Cecil.

    Scoring runs in the AL East has never been difficult for Yankees, Redsox, Jays etc. These teams win when they have starting pitching. The reason its better to invest in young pitching, is because you can always find players who will do well in these parks. Look at the Jays, Edwin, Bautista, Saunders, Travis, Donaldson, These are all players that we didn't draft or develop and yet they are our best hitters. Same with the Sox in their hayday, manram and Ortiz were not developed by them, they were just guys (Manram less so) Pitching is the commodity that is beneficial In the NL however its the opposite. You can always find guys who can pitch in those pitching paradises and pitch to 8 hitters and 1 free out every three innings. They need to invest in young hitters to excel.

    Anyone else sick of how good the Redsox of the future will be. Who is going to pitch for them? Price and Porcello will be finished in a year or two, and Wright already looks done. I rather have 3 good young starters then position players.

    It really isn't. 3 starters in the playoffs is all you need. No Idea where all this trouble comes from. Go with Stroman, Happ, and Estrada and f*** everyone else.
