  1. How is it a real decision when they are both replacement level that won't contribute to the teams win loss record
  2. You can't compare s*** to s***
  3. We didn't improve left field or first base and most systems are projecting us to get replacement value from there. This is what is killing us. Through out offseason you guys were saying wait and wait and see. Well Shatkins sat on their bums, and they wouldn't have even signed Bautista if the hand wasn't forced. Virtually they were like deer in headlights. Encarnacion and Fowler should have been Bluejays along with Bautista and we could have been looking at a world series contender getting 6-7 WAR out of those two positions. Pearce could have DH'd
  4. What difference does it make They don't do any variance analysis so there is no tracking of their projection system Probably a monkey picking in the dark can do just as good. Jay's pitchers are likely to get injured meanwhile Tanaka has about as much elbow cartilage as piece of string
  5. It just feels like Osuna is going to have a trip up this year. He has been far too good far too young.
  6. Coghlan has been released LF who bats Left Handed and Good OBP. I'd trust him to do a better job platooning with Upton than Carrera.
  7. The success has gone to Sanchez's head. He as become arrogant and thinks way too much of himself.
  8. Travis is better than Wong, but if Travis spends another year in and out of DL, we need to start questioning his sustainability
  9. f*** off. The man has a family and is a pretty standup guy. POS
  10. I dont understand why Morales is DHing when he can just as well start at 1B and get some practice. Like Seriously 90% of spring this guy is Dhing. Is it really too much to ask for him to be prepared to take over at 1st and get some practice in. This is an old team, when Bautista or Donaldson has to DH is Morales going to sit? I just hate the idea of this stationary DH I just dont understand why he cant at least get himself f***ing ready for first base. Its like he is just okay parking his fat ass on the bench.
  11. Made the playoffs 3 out of the last 5 years despite being in the hardest division in baseball and with the second lowest payroll in the Division. He is a damn fine GM, just talks too much.
  12. Starting to feel like locking in that DH Spot to Morales may have been a mistake. Already Donaldson and Bautista both looking like they would be able to use 20-30 games at DH each. To what extent Morales can switch over and play 1st we don't know yet. When the dog days hit, the big guns will need time at the DH Slot.
  13. Rogers Dorn was a hell of a third baseman. .272*/.362/.455, in 1989 while playing respectable third base. https://thereadzone.com/2013/11/12/a-guess-at-the-stats-for-the-players-in-the-movie-major-league/
  14. You mean the Edwin Encarnacion deal, that also included Scott Rolen as one of the players in the Package traded for Edwin.
  15. With the 20th overall pick the Jays Select Mike Trout. I can just imagine the convo with JPR Listen, Trout is the guy. This guy is a future hall of famer, 100+ WAR JPR: Jenkins looks pretty good to us. Big Strong, slow but Fat as an ox. This is our guy
  16. Sanchez has all the makings of a huge let down season Sophomore Check Hired expensive agent Check Broke up with best friend Check Hasn't looked good spring Check
  17. Gibby is very flexible, and this is a lot to do with it. He is open minded and listens to management Way to go, great news.
  18. Why should that bother me, my words are gold meant for the truly worthy.
  19. I have you on IL spanky A different kind of IL The I Love List. Love you old friend. Nah Just joking, I am just fond of you
  20. Franchise desire not to Trade Halladay to Rivals, combined with his 10/5 rights and the desire to give him a good home severly limited the options. I think during the offseason the Phillies and the Mariners were the only serious potentiol partners. Not much was in the Mariners system either. Phillipe Aumonts name was mentoined if I remember correctly.
  21. The Phillies had offered the same prospects to the Jays, as what they offered to the Indians for Cliff Lee at the trade deadline in 2009. But JP didn't want to settle for them Carlos Carrasco was the lead prospect. I also remember the Angels had a deal around Saunders and some other trash. Nothing else was there really. Drabek was a really good prospect, it didn't work out but all three acquired in that deal were bluechippers at the time.
  22. I have never spoken to a woman that i didn't respect
