    You would still have to sweep the Redsox in Boston and come home and beat them at home.

    Best case scenario. More than 1 team ties for the second wild card. This could happen. Detroit has Atlanta and Seattle has Oakland.

    Maybe it is dependant on who we face. if its the Tigers than Sanchez if its the Orioles than Happ, Orioles really struggle against LHP, their team OPS Is .100 points lower against LHP vs. RHP. It gets even worse for them if its LHP and an away game. Tigers on the other hand have even splits against both. Most likely Tigers will get the second WC, I cant see them losing a game in Hotlanta, meanwhile Yankee stadium could be tough for the Oreos.

    You go with the less risky option in Happ, and have Sanchez ready to go and piggy back If you get into a lead early, you switch of to Sanchez and then Osuna. Happ is less risky, Sanchez has had a couple of games where he wasn't right.

    I'm pretty sure we wouldn't get swept in Boston and even then...anyways just a food for thought. Ideally we sweep O's and then they go and sweep the Yankees. Yankees will make that difficult. On the other hand Detroit has Atlanta. There are just too many reasons why facing Baltimore is better than facing Detroit.

    I'd rather have Happ and have Sanchez pitch out of the pen for that game.

    If we win today, we should seriously consider starting Dickey for the final game of the series and dropping it to the Os. I would much rather face the Os then Tigers in the WC game. 6-2 against the Os at home this year. Thats the matchup we want.

    I want one game vs Orioles. The idea of Verlander really scares me. I'll take on Tillman all day.

    We are a superior team to Texas. I fully expect the Jays to beat the Rangers if the situation comes up

    A lot of these teams take over players when they are minors with no college education. Same with the NHL. 18 year olds and 19 year olds that lack maturity. And the team is not responsible? If you get a job just any job you employer has development programs in place. When you are at university you have professors and other role models helping your development. So yes I do think there is something wrong with a system that takes young teens and makes baseball their no.1 priority. As log as they perform other behaviors are overlooked.

    They need to educate the players better. Boating around at 3 am. I am not saying it's wrong or right but it's not exactly unavoidable I know so far no alcohol but it's hard for me to believe that it was Saturday night at 3 am and they didn't have at least a few in them. I feel sorry for his gf

    Dont know what kind of support she will get either. He didn't really get into his pay days and I am sure at 24 he probably thought he was going to make hundreds of millions. Maybe they will start a collection
