Why do you have to do it now, This season, but not now. Wait till June and July. Yes by then if things are just as bad then the following should be liquidated Bautista Encarnacion Dickey Burly. -
Why not If I was an umpire and this catcher was virtually getting paid millions extra and fame for fooling me on what a strike is, I'd be shrinking the strike zone on him just a bit

Its an absolute miracle that this team is 1 game under .500 considering how bad the pitching has been

right now he isn't hurting the team, in fact he might sadly be the best starter on this team

Had the jays put him on the trading block in the offseason no doubt some one would take that contract. A one year, $20 Mil deal for a pitcher like Burly is not bad at all considering how consistent he is, and the lack of long term commitment.

I wonder if Umpires are pissed at Martin for all the framing talk in the offseason and if that has somehow backfired.

Its easy to blame this but at the end of the day,it is what it is. This is maybe the best offensive team in baseball and in my opinion better than the Redsox offense.

You weren't the only one. It seems that even the pitchers we counted on, have regressed. But what else is new This is the Toronto Blue Jays, you dont miss the playoffs for 22 years without some serious bad luck.
