  1. I would trade Encarnacion before Bautista especially if EE heats up he could bring back a significant return. Dudes knees are a long term.issue anyways and I don't think.he is another Ortiz
  2. I still don't understand why Alex ignored impending issues and what made him think that an A ball rookie will be able to be an effective mlb closer
  3. The last good manager this team.had was Tim.Johnson
  4. But the best bullpen in majors
  5. Here are Gibbys numbers in 1 run games 2013 20-29 2014 15-20 2015 2-10 Overall 37-59
  6. Winning close games is also a marker of manager contribution
  7. While the starting pitching has been awful the hitters have found a way to get leads Leads have been blown by the bullpen. 8 blown saves most in the majors. Cut that in half and we are in first place I can't blame AA for starters. However he did not address the bullpen despite numerous opportunities
  8. Good RD + bad WL = bad close game record Close games require the bull pen more since they are the result of either the bullpen unable to hold leads or the bullpen failing to keep the score tied Are they still 2-12 in one run games?
  9. A good RD along with a bad WL = Bad Bullpen
  10. I used to go out of my way to listen to post fame shows. Now I won't listen even.if I am driving
  11. My favorite is how when the Orioles Rays etc are doing well he will always say that its like a fluke and how they will come down to earth but they never do lol. However when the Jays get off to a great starts and he makes statements like this was what the plan was they quickly fall off.
  12. Way too early for WL record too. Remember last year and how that crashed
  13. I actually think Colabello is a hidden gem and will be a career .300 hitter
  14. So Colabello's BABIP is .530, if that dips 100 points, his OBP will dip by the same amount and he will become a scrub.?
  15. 5 years I think, based on my understanding of the service clock But there was Juan Francisco last year who was on a similar tear
  16. But he is hitting .400. Shouldn't the analysis be on the difference between BA and BABIP and not just BABIP alone which tells us nothing by itself
  17. So Chris Colabello good or is it still just sample size. At point is he good? July?
  18. Just getting rid of Farrell cost this team Gomes
