    There is a greater probability that Smoak will break out and have an all star season than Pearce being healthy.

    For Bautista to have a monster season, and for Smoak to be released as soon as possible For signs that the future isn't as bleak as it currently seems, and for a hope that this isn't going to be the next 6-8 years of below .500 baseball where the front office constantly dumpster dives and doesn't spend a majority of the payroll on replacement value players (Smoak, Morales, relievers signed etc.) Rogers needs to admit that it was a mistake signing Shapiro, this man doesn't really know anything about Baseball. AA was the true hero, and I hope that after the Shapiro experiment ends, we welcome Alex as the president of this team.

    Not only that Chein Ming Wang, Johan Santana and Ramon Ortiz were far more successful has been then the kind of Garbage Shapiro is signing. None of these pitchers will ever make a start for the Bluejays or if they do we will be lucky they will be replacement value. This is money in the toilet, just like Franklin Morales. These are the same clowns who circled jerk the $2M Morales signing OMG SHAPIRO OMG HE IS A BASEBALL NAME OMG EVERYONE ON THE CIRCLE JERK TRAIN Just wait till 2-3 years when we are in last place, and 15K fans are showing up at Rogers Centre. Shapiro will single handedly destroy this franchise, perhaps even on purpose.

    Having a good rotation is this teams only chance. Why are we talking about taking away from that? Especially when other needs could have easily been met via Free Agency Unless Latos is willing to become a reliever.

    If Osuna gets hurt, and Grilli finally acts his age, this is the worst bullpen in the Majors. You have Joe Smith Closing games and JP Howell setting them up.

    Yep, he succeeded as a reliever, and he was a damn good one. Relivers on the market are hard to find, some of them are getting paid better There is no guarantee if you start him, and it doesn't work out, that he goes to being a good reliever again.

Not a day goes by that this franchise isn't being slowly destroyed Shapiro is like mold Best day in Indians history the day they got rid of this cancer. Look they made it to the WS right after. Big surprise Shapiro was like an anchor dragging them down

    Probablet scenerio Biagini goes back to AAA is an average to below average starter moved back to the Bullpen but isn't the elite arm anymore. Another in a succession of poor moves by this overexposed regime. It's going to be a horrible 4-5 years to watch as Shapiro destroys this fan base.

    They should consider a rule change regarding the use of relief pitching, I could be wrong but aren't substitutions limited in other sports? All the fricking delays, and there is too much matching etc. It kills the game and offense. What i suggest is that each team has 3 relievers they are going to use in a game. So each team has about 7 relievers? Just like they submit their bench they should submit 3 relievers they will use on the day. That will end extra inning games quicker too. When relievers get tired it should benefit the hitting team. In addition they should get a long man that can be used if your pitcher doesn't last 4 innings. Also 1 change per inning. None of this 3 RP an inning gargbage. you get 1 change. If your reliever cant get it done in that inning, Tough f***ing noogies. That is life. This will shed 10-15 minutes a game. As a way to appease the player union, they should expand the rosters to 27 players, thereby maintaining player jobs.

    Its painful to see how much talent the Redsox have. Hopefully Hanley takes a big big step back this year, and that offense without Ortiz falls apart. Would be nice to see a dysfunctional clubhouse.
