Was play .500 ball in August and we'd all be able to look forward to a contending team in September. Instead they totally crap the bed. What a colossal failure of a team. The Blue Jays offense wasted quality start after quality start.

If their team was in play-off contention then it's not stupid to try as it has no consequence. You can argue whether they're actually still in contention but we all know what happened in 2012. Edit: 2011?

Thing I don't understand is his HR/9 in the minors is rediculously low, but when he gets called up everything is a deep fly ball or home run.

It seems to me Sanchez belongs in the bullpen. I imagine they'll try him as a starter, it will fail and he'll be back in the bullpen. Seems he could be the 2015 closer.
