Great game from Hutch. Kinda sad that todays GDT thread views/posts is only a fraction of yesterdays. Seems like everyone bailed after yesterdays brutal loss.

How Reyes ever won a batting title is beyond me. Swings wildly at bad pitches, fouls a lot (bad contact), doesn't have an idea at the plate.

You're the one judging by saying we are juding off one inning. Not the case the all. You have to use the data available and projections, not just make optimistic assumptions that he will get better based on supposed adjustments. With that said, I haven't had the privilege to watch him in person over time, so obviously it's all really just conjecture (for fun). Nobody denies the kid is filthy.

That's exactly right. Sanchez has always had great stuff and not much control. There hasn't really been any signs of improvement there. He's going to strike guys out, he's going to walk guys, he's going to miss his spots and get hammered.
