    Don't get me wrong if he did this he's an f'ing idiot. But at the same time opening day every year we have drunk idiots physically assaulting other fans in front of kids and families and everyone just sits back and has a big laugh passing the youtube videos around. You had hundreds of people throwing s*** on the field last year and nobody was charged to my knowledge. Precedence is set IMO and I can't imagine the guy not getting off with a half decent lawyer.

    I don't see anything conclusive in these videos/pictures. I hope the cops have more evidence than just this. The fact that he's drinking out of a cup means nothing. It's the 7th inning I believe when people who go to games get hammered buy multiple beers because it's last call.

    I'm hesitant to buy one too. This team could be an 81-81 team next year if they do nothing to replace JB and EE. I was listening to Blair this morning and he was saying Shapiro presented 3 different scenarios to ownership. Increasing payroll x percent, staying the same or decreasing x percent and how they thought that would affect performance and revenues. What if they do decide to go to a $130 mil payroll and I'm stuck with 20 tickets for a s*** team that I live 3 hours away from. There's no excuse for this team not to be spending $180-200 mil on payroll. I'm not saying spend it overnight stupidly but they definitely have the revenues to support that.

    I sold my $32 CAD tickets for $75 US on Stubhub for next Friday vs Yanks 2 days ago in the middle of this big slump. I think it's just the Rays are boring and being mid week.
