I sold my 500's for greater than face but my 113C tickets I was calling everyone I knew trying to sell them for face. This year I bought 100 OF's in hope that I can at least make a little profit if I can't make it. I have tickets for Monday which is the 8 PM game. If I had tickets for games 4 and 5 I'd probably be a little worried.
I think the market will pick up on the weekend, especially if the Jays win a game. Then again if they lose both it will tank like it did last year. I had a hell of a time selling my ALCS tickets last year.
Smart plan. I think my friend booked something by the airport. I've been to Cleveland and I won't be walking more than a few blocks and only in areas with lots of people so we probably would have been cabbing at some point anyways.
I think we're going to go Friday but only going to the game Saturday for sure. If we get a deal Friday may take in that one too.
Of course hotels are completely picked over downtown. $400+ a night for anything not a dive.
Do you guys know if Cleveland has a stubhub cutoff? When I was in Seattle they stop selling on stubhub hours before the game. I was going to wait until the last second and buy something on my phone outside the stadium.
what are you guys who are going doing for tickets? Going to wait it out? Think I'm going with a group of 4 and all we really care about is getting in the stadium
I got 3 Terrace Club standing for a potential game 7. The tickets also say they include food. I don't know what the hell i got myself into. Anybody know anything about this?
Wait, the Indians don't sell in advance like the Jays do?
I'm 95% going this weekend too, just need to work out the logistics. And whether I can sell my wife letting me go away for 2 nights so I can go to both.
I'm sorry but this is the Rogers Blue Jays. We have the highest TV ratings in MLB and the highest attendance in the AL. We only shop in the bargain bin.
The fans need to hold these clowns accountable for their profits.
