  1. Summer GRICHUCK YEAAAAAAAAAAAH!
  2. Catchers sometimes call some off-speed to help the pitcher settle down when they can’t find their fastball command.
  3. He always had some FB command issues, but not like this. I feel like Nate has 1st inning syndrome and tends to settle down.
  4. That's not good.
  5. Nate sitting 93-95 first AB and leadoff walk. Hmmm
  6. Frankie Montas serving batting practice. Injury?
  7. Big Nate's highest velo pitches this season below. Time to rack up some triple-digits on the O's.
  8. So we really just need to hover on waters until Bichette comes back and make a run. If you only need 30-30 record to make the playoffs, we're really not that far away if those little league mistakes get cleaned up. Wouldn't hurt to add a real bat at the trade deadline either.
  9. That steal had no impact on the score. Yes the steal was questionable but he’s no doubt fun to watch. Texas is only down 6-4 now.
  10. Wait.. we have a 39.5% chance for postseason?
  11. Wade LeBlanc will either go complete game shutout today or serve batting practice.
  12. Old School knickers in a knot after Tatis successfully steals 3rd matrix style when the Padres are up 6-0.
  13. How dare Morejon dominate the Rangers lineup? So much disrespect to the veterans.
  14. How dare Wil Myers hit another grand slam off the Rangers. Doesn’t he know you’re not supposed to embarrass the home team? He should apologize immediately.
  15. I have a whole bunch of guys on my list to cover, been a little busy to do a writeup for them. Hopefully have time in September to post a few of them. The more I dig into the draft, it looks like there are some promising talent up top. The college bat crop might surprise some people and really intriguing prep talent. Hopefully we’ll get a decision from the MLB about the structure of the 2021 draft order.
  16. Let’s ignore the fact he has a 135 wRC+ in August. Go ahead and keep hating on Vlad and his conditioning. Just ignore that many sluggers have succeeded hitting baseballs with similar body types like David Ortiz and Miguel Cabrera. Nobody cares that you hate him, it’s just annoying at this point. This isn’t even a hot streak for Vlad, it’s just regression to his average when his first two weeks were horrific. You wanna see what a Vlad hot streak looks like? First promotion to AA (April 4-June 6): 54 games - .410/.460/.668, OPS 1.128 OPS, .483 WOBA, 205 wRC+ 8.5 BB%, 8.9 K%, .258 ISO 20 BB to 21 K in 236 PA 84 hits, 30 XBH, 11 HR, 55 RBI, 44 runs First promotion to AAA: 30 games - .336/.414/.564, OPS .978, .428 WOBA, 175 wRC+ 11.7 BB%, 7.8 K%, .227 ISO 15 BB to 10 K in 128 PA 37 hits, 13 XBH, 6 HR, 16 RBI, 15 runs He was 19 years old and the youngest player at each level during AA and AAA. He got on-base 2 or 3 times a game, drove in a couple runs, and even got intentionally walked 5 times during this stretch. He always had a line-drive & on-base approach, rarely really swung for the fences and still managed to tatoo the hotel in left field several times due to ridiculous exit velocities that frequently touched 110-121 MPH in AA/AAA. Vlad has never struggled in the minors and only a handful of times he failed to get on-base more than two games in a row. Everyone voiced to call him up and now he’s hitting speed bumps the fan base has resorted to fat shame him on a daily basis. He’s 21 and we’re not winning this year. Just relax man.
  17. Alright if we beat up on the Orioles all season there’s still a chance
  18. Professional defense
  19. lol Nunez gtfo
  20. Waguespack.. 10 pitch walk to Cedric MVP Mullins.
  21. Orioles gonna save our season
  22. Let’s be real, it’s not like they have to do it deliberately. Charlie is doing an adequate job.
  23. Quite frankly there’s no bat comparable to Torkelson, Martin or Gonzales. Not even close. Those guys put up some of the most ridiculous college numbers we’ve seen the past five years. There might be a couple popup prep bats of the Riley Green, Zac Veen variety. I think one or two college bats could reach the Alec Bohm tier, which is still tank worthy.
