    Carrera leading off is so egregious. Amazing how Gibby gifts Pillar the lead off spot and now won't even let him have it with the team in a pinch. Jesus.

    If you just put your foot down and talk straight up business with them you can get yourself a good deal. Most of the phone people are probably really only on the hook for satisfying customers and have a range of leniency if you make a good case for yourself.

    I have a basic + some choice channels with Rogers and I get all these games on 21 while the NHL playoffs are on 22. (I have no idea how the channels work for you, though.)

    What, so Cola was desperately running out the clock for the last two months? That's pretty s***** from every angle. Poor dude probably knew the whole time that the axe was coming, and not in a way some guys fear a demotion to the minors. Fringe guy just trying to stay in the game off a randomly amazing year, and before the next season a legit possibility that it's all suddenly over. Even if he knowingly used, it's pretty rough. If Pillar is not just covering for his buddy's reputation and Cola is actually the victim of a technicality then this is even rougher. Six months ago he was hitting in between Edwin Encarnacion and Troy Tulowitzki in a fevered playoff run and now he could be finished. Still won't forget that walk-off single against the Astros last year in June. The luckiest bit of s*** I've ever seen, but still awesome.
