  1. It looks like a finger grazed him, tbh... Edit: actually, Pat might be right. Not sure it's enough to o/t though.
  2. It looked like it nearly hit him, but they haven't shown another angle. The one replay they showed looked like it went right by him with his back turned.
  3. Passed ball K scores. Almost everything is falling right for Cleveland.
  4. He clanked it because instead of accepting a double in the corner he turned it into an RBI triple. It's not the effort that bugs me. It's the questionable judgment.
  5. He missed by quite a bit. His speed didn't help there. It's not the first time he's clanked a play like that either. It ended up costing a run too.
  6. Hopefully the AS break can give him some nice cooldown (though he may even make the team, so go figure).
  7. I've had way more than enough of his goofs in the OF. He wasn't even close on that.
  8. Estrada moving around pretty gingerly. Probably his sore back.
  9. ZacMac is already gassed. Indians running on fumes too.
  10. Estrada's pitching today. I don't see the problem of Hutch coming up to cover for Happ when the alternative is punting a game. It's now one more game that will need to be won in September. edit: Looks like Happ threw his side the prior day. Guess they really were out of options, though "not wanting to use Happ out of order" or whatever is clearly a way more suspect stated reason than the very specific ones they gave for everyone else:
  11. They basically conceded the game when all they needed was a single run. It's frankly amazing it ended up as close as it did. Cleveland clearly wasn't about to punt. Unless Happ is hurting or something, Hale is a complete moron. If I'm a position player on the bench I'm pretty pissed off that I played 17 innings for the boss to just go 'welp'. Of all the starters, it's Happ who would have had the edge vs. Santana, Kipnis, and Lindor too.
  12. Stop batting Carrera lead off for all that is holy.
  13. First six or seven innings were dull, except for the ump show. Super tense after that because of the semi-sudden death nature of extras. I still can't believe I watched it all tbh. Luckily I'm not doing long weekend stuff until tomorrow, otherwise I'd have been the guy checking Twitter for six f***in hours.
  14. Lineup completely s*** the pants today, unfortunately. The egregious calls settled down but they still went over an entire game's worth of innings barely squaring anything up, even against struggling arms. Really bad work all around, including JD getting doubled up.
  15. Basically. Huge crowd, tons of fanfare, throws out one of the team's two premiere players after a 4-second exchange.
  16. The bullpen just pitched an entire game+ of scoreless. If you think this random game encapsulates everything then the least you could do is know what happened.
  17. And he'd have had another. He made mistakes in the heat of the moment but Hale is standing there watching his mistake burn.
  18. Omg Pat analyzing this homer, explaining why Santana is so good. Firing line.
  19. Dude the meat of the order is up next. How can you continue to dance in traffic like this?
