Yea and they can't say it's to save players from exhaustion the next day either. If that's a concern they could just consider giving an extra roster spot for teams that just played 14+ inning games for their next game. But this is just to try and appeal to a new fan base. Every team's bench will be 3 dalton pompey types with a catcher.

I don't see a problem testing anything in the minors. Also makes me wonder what the TV viewership dropoff is in the 16th inning vs 9th. Might be <10℅ still watching though I doubt a Seinfeld rerun would get more viewers after midnight on Fox, just a thought.

If someone sac bunts in extras to move the go ahead to third with 1 out, the next batter gets a 4 pitch walk almost everytime to setup the DP.

If Estrada was throwing 3mph faster it doesn't really mean he'd be much more effective. All he cares about is his league leading 11mph drop in velocity between his FB & CH while commanding his pitches. Hell he could probably reach back and throw 2-3mph faster but that probably wouldn't help what he's trying to achieve on the mound which is miss bats by messing up their timing. If you throw heat (like 96++), you can get away with a little less command and at that point yea there'd be a difference between Osuna's heat and Chapmans but a guy throwing 88 vs 91 is not going to make it harder for an MLB hitter to square up your pitch, it's how you command it and maybe more importantly, how you set up that pitch.

Because I can never see s*** in the 100 sides, I seem to always get the tall guy in front of me blocking my view. Not to mention it usually feels like a sweaty mess among the crowd in the sun. 2nd deck 3rd base side is superior imo, you get the shade, you can see everything great, plus padded seats ftw.
