The reason it caught him off guard is because Stro totally changed his wind up. He didn't step his back foot before pitching like his semi-full wind up, so maybe it can be seen as a quick pitch? It's definitely deceiving and was super quick, though I don't think that's illegal.

Basically the same s*** different pile. End of the day, that's really the only logical explanation and if I remember the replay the ump pointed at Stro which indicates a balk. We had the s***** angle behind home plate instead of seeing the normal one.

Well they could remove 1 if you're wrong, lose both if you're wrong twice. Similar system but just speeds things up not getting to preview before the review.

It already is limited to a number of replays per game tho... depending if you're 'right or wrong' which is stupid.

I really hate the review rules myself, I'd rather each team have 2 challenges and must challenge right away, based on the infielder or runner's instinct of safe or out.

Pretty big difference between Sanchez throwing to Martin with Tulo and Donaldson behind him, to Lawrence throwing to Salty with Goins and Barney instead. I mean.... This result should surprise no one.
